Camps & Cabins

We booked the campsite for 2 days. Getting there was very easy, and the campsite was easy to find. Our van is 6 meters long; as described, if you want to drive out facing forward, you have to back up about 100 meters and make a U-turn before that. It all worked out just fine, even with our 6-meter van. The campsite offers plenty of shade. You can walk straight into the forest from the campsite for hiking, but there’s also a grocery store, restaurants, and cafés about a 15- to 20-minute walk away. A natural swimming spot was about a 5-minute walk away, which was very convenient since we had a dog with us that could cool off there. All in all, the site and the location are peaceful, and everything was hassle-free. If you’re looking for peace and nature, this is the perfect spot. We’d definitely come back. Thank you so much for the great campsite.
We had a wonderful weekend at the campground. Getting there is no problem with small RVs and is easy to manage. Many thanks to Christian for the fresh wood-fired bread.
We spent two wonderful nights at this great spot. You have plenty of privacy on the hillside, under the trees, always in partial shade. Cows and their calves were grazing right next to us. The site is easy to reach with a short reverse drive; plus, you’re at ground level on fresh wood chips. From there, you can head straight into the forest for beautiful hikes, and it’s a quick walk or bike ride down to the village for shopping. Christian even ran electricity up to us and drove fresh water up—he was incredibly helpful, just great. We had a very nice chat with him and felt completely at home. We’d love to come back!
Isabell and Christian are very welcoming hosts. The location is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature. It's a shame we only stayed one night, because it's truly a very relaxing place. I highly recommend it.
Christian is a great host—friendly, cheerful, and accommodating! Not only did he walk me up to the site and help me back into the spot, but he also went out of his way to cover the ground with wood chips so we could feel completely at home. The spot itself is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks to the beautiful deciduous trees, the camper was always in the shade. There are benches and logs to sit on and use as little tables; the view is lovely, and there’s even a special shady spot, slightly elevated among the trees. It really is a secluded spot. Every now and then, a horse and its rider stroll along the path, which is a good distance away. A tractor might even drive by there sometimes. At night, you can see a fantastic starry sky. The Gutach, a small stream, is just under a 10-minute walk away and has a spot where people and dogs can wade in—which is wonderful, especially in this heat. Yes, even the villagers we met at a festival were open and friendly. If you can navigate your camper along the winding dirt road, I can wholeheartedly recommend this spot and the surrounding area. Thanks, Christian, for everything!
