Black Forest Idyll: Self-Sufficient Forest Cabin in a Clearing

In the summer, this little wooden cabin stands in the middle of the forest in a small clearing, about 20 minutes from our farm. Here, you’ll have the place all to yourselves, surrounded by nature. Our cabin is especially well-suited for two people and combines the closeness to nature you get from camping with comfortable, stylish furnishings. Inside the cabin, there is a 140x200 cm bed; bedding for two people is provided.

We provide a bottle of sparkling water and two glasses.

At our cozy campfire site, you can make yourselves comfortable in the evenings and enjoy the fire and its warmth. We provide rustic tree trunks for seating and as “side tables.”

The summer location of the Häusle has a well with fresh spring water.

We’ve also found a nature-friendly solution for our guests when it comes to the restroom. Thanks to a low-odor dry toilet, we can avoid using chemicals and be part of nature’s cycle.

Check-in takes place at our farm. There’s also plenty of parking available here. Before your arrival, we’ll send you all the necessary information via email or chat.

Then the time will have come, and you can set off on your adventure: a night’s stay at the Häusle. Once there, you’ll be completely undisturbed, surrounded by nature.

Summer and Winter Locations

In the summer, the Häusle is situated in a small clearing in the middle of the forest. You can reach the summer location in about a 20-minute walk from the farm. There is no electricity there.

The winter location is in a sunny spot at the edge of the forest above the farm and offers a beautiful view of the Gutach Valley. At our winter location, our Häusle has electricity and heating, so you’ll stay comfortably warm even when temperatures drop.
