Nice spot by the water. Spacious field. Choose your own spot. Be sure to bring a long extension cord. 1 hot and 1 cold shower in the women’s area. No door to close. In the men’s area, 2 hot showers and 1 cold shower, and no hot water for shaving at the sinks. Saw the canoeists still having a great time on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday morning—fun! They do separate trash. No dumping of gray water or chemical toilet waste. Cycling to the Altstadt is close by. Cycling to the Tierpark with a dog bike trailer in tow was barely doable. Some sections in the forest were very steep. Unpaved with lots of rocks. Had to let the dog out and walk part of the way. Google Maps didn’t provide a good route. Nor did it for the return trip. Parts of the path were even closed off. REWE supermarket and pet store are a 6-minute walk away. 👍🏻
Hi everyone, it was a really nice little getaway at Jens’s place. Everything was just as described, and communicating with Jens was totally hassle-free. A beautiful spot right on the water—the walking paths are perfect for relaxing. The swimming pool, spa, and sauna right nearby are a big plus. The restrooms and shower areas were also perfectly fine.
Great campsite. We'll definitely be back. Communication with Jens went very smoothly. Everything was great!
Very friendly and easy-going hosts, a great spot right on the Werre River with all the amenities. We'd love to come back!
We felt very comfortable in this large, open, natural meadow.
