A campsite on a meadow surrounded by animals and nature, right behind our farm.
The campsite offers a wonderful view of the typical Eiderstedt pasture landscape and is perfectly positioned for stunning sunsets. (see photos)
Right next door are our cattle, sheep, and horses/ponies; especially when the calves and lambs are around, they’re a joy to watch.
Our chickens or the cat might also stop by for a visit. We’d be happy to provide you with eggs for breakfast.
If you have a grill with you, feel free to barbecue—maybe you’d like to try our own lamb?
If we have time, we’d love to take you along and show you the animals, but if you’re looking for some peace and quiet, you’ll find that here too.
(But be aware: on a farm, tractors or ATVs are naturally in operation from time to time)
We can arrange for water and electricity if needed.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a toilet at this time.

I stayed with Johanna for two nights. I received a warm welcome and was able to pick a spot for my trailer on the meadow behind the farm. The absolute tranquility and a beach chair with a view of the sunset were the highlights. It was perfect for me.
Johanna and Martin were two very warm and welcoming hosts. The farm is beautiful and in a great location. You can get anywhere quickly. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Our child was thrilled to see the sheep and horses—and, of course, the tractor ♥️ Thanks for everything.

We received a very warm welcome; everything is absolutely wonderful and clean. We felt very comfortable in the meadow surrounded by animals.
This was our second Hinterland Camp, and it was absolutely wonderful there. We had a very peaceful spot on a meadow, and we even got to use a beach chair. Watching the animals in the surrounding meadows was just so relaxing, and we were even treated to perfect weather ☀️—complete with unobstructed sunsets. You do need to be self-sufficient, but once you are, you’ll feel right at home here with the very friendly hosts. We’d love to come back 👍
