  We received a very warm welcome; everything is absolutely wonderful and clean. We felt very comfortable in the meadow surrounded by animals.

  This was our second Hinterland Camp, and it was absolutely wonderful there. We had a very peaceful spot on a meadow, and we even got to use a beach chair. Watching the animals in the surrounding meadows was just so relaxing, and we were even treated to perfect weather ☀️—complete with unobstructed sunsets. You do need to be self-sufficient, but once you are, you’ll feel right at home here with the very friendly hosts. We’d love to come back 👍

  Such a warm and welcoming host couple and a fantastic campsite 🌿🐑🐂 We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the lush greenery. It’s pure camping bliss to be able to stay on a farm like this! We’d love to come back! Thank you both :)

  We felt very at home with Johanna and Martin. We parked our 7.5-meter motorhome off the grid at the back of a meadow between the pastures. Sheep, cows, horses, free-range chickens and dogs, a very friendly cat, and every now and then a heron flew by. In the morning, the sun rose on one side of the RV and set on the other in the evening—the sweeping view… almost too picturesque to be true. We even got a portable fence for our dog. Starting from the farm (they’re working here, but you don’t notice it out back—only when someone drives by to feed the animals), you can take the dog for a long walk, go biking, go for a run… we’ve really missed this kind of camping lately—it’s so relaxing.
