Campsites by the green quarry pond, surrounded by nature

Please note: Due to new regulations, I can no longer accommodate traditional large motorhomes and RVs as of immediately!!! Large vans and off-road vehicles are, of course, welcome 😀

We offer you beautiful campsites by our quarry pond, surrounded by lush, peaceful nature right next to the Grinderwald

Next door, you’ll find our herds of mother cows grazing in the pasture.

Simply a beautiful piece of earth.

Each spot is secluded; so you’ll have privacy. The entire area spans 20 hectares.

An idyllic path winds around the entire pond. Perfect for walks with your four-legged friends.

The Grinderwald, which is right next door, is also great for hiking and exploring.

The Steinhuder Meer or our Schneeren moorlands are relatively easy to reach by bike

Important: Small children are, of course, always free and don’t pay anything. ☺️

Directions:

From Neustadt

Simply take the B6 and drive straight into the forest. You’ll see the lake on your right.

From Nienburg: Take the Schneerener Krug exit, cross the B6 bridge, then turn left into the forest.

The designated parking spots for vehicles by the pond are located above the embankment (feel free to contact me in advance with your vehicle details; then simply find a quiet, peaceful spot that fits your vehicle.

You’re welcome to spread out across the grounds so you’re not too close to each other.

Generally, though, you should stick to the spots I’ve assigned. This way, we can all avoid arguments in advance over the supposedly best spots.

Of course, having a tent gives you even more flexibility.

If you plan to barbecue (which is allowed on a small scale), please exercise caution. The embankment by the pond can be very dry at times.

You can access the water directly from your spots

Please stay away from the production area (operations run on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., but are very quiet). For safety reasons, access is of course not permitted here ☺️
