We’ve planted an orchard meadow 100 meters from our new home, on the outskirts of a small village. It’s 11 km to Mardorf on the Steinhuder Meer, which is easily accessible by bike. The property is approximately 5,000 square meters, of which about 2,500 square meters is the orchard meadow, which, with its mowed paths, looks like a small, natural park.

Our stay with Petra was absolutely fantastic. She is a very friendly host who, just like her partner, is happy to make time for her guests. She even shares little treats from her greenhouse with her guests, and her garden and the adjacent orchard next to the campsite are very well maintained. A very nice campsite away from the hustle and bustle, with very warm and welcoming hosts.
A beautiful, peaceful campground surrounded by nature—perfect for unwinding and relaxing. We had a new, clean bathroom all to ourselves. The hosts are exceptionally warm, helpful, and very dedicated, so you feel welcome right away. A well-maintained campground that we wholeheartedly recommend and would love to visit again.
