We had a great time staying with Björn at the quarry pond. There were a few minor changes to our plans, but they were beyond the host’s control. The lake and the campsites are beautiful, and we were able to really relax during our stay. Björn was a very easygoing and friendly host and did everything he could to make us feel at home! We’ll definitely be back soon and highly recommend this spot! ☺️😁
I had a wonderful stay at a truly exceptional campsite. The view is absolutely stunning, the surroundings are perfect for walking the dog, and I’d love to come back when the weather is better. (: You shouldn’t be too sensitive to noise, though, since you can hear the B6 (though it quickly becomes background noise).
A wonderful, quiet spot, and Björn was very friendly and easy to deal with. We’d love to come back!
Everything is great at Björn's. The communication, the location, the shop with organic meat, the fruit shop with cakes, pesto, barbecue sauces... We took our old T3 off-roading—it was a real adventure ;) But it was awesome.🫠

Björn is a lovely host, the lake is beautiful, it’s pleasantly peaceful, and guests tend to keep their distance—a great recommendation if you like things a bit rustic and natural.... We’d love to come back! Best regards, Michael & Yvonne ....and our Rottweiler, SHAWNEE

We had a wonderful, exclusive stay; Björn and his family were very hospitable. If you're looking for a self-sufficient camping experience in a secluded location, this is the perfect spot. A solid 5 stars from us!

Communicating with Björn was really nice and easy. The site offered a beautiful view, though of course you shouldn’t expect a manicured lawn. The only downside is that the main road is relatively close by, so you can hear some noise in our tent. Still, it’s a place I’d recommend for a short getaway.
What a weekend—it’s hard to put into words. Such a wonderful little spot. Right in the middle of the forest, right on the slope leading down to the water. We enjoyed it to the fullest. We went swimming, hiking, and just soaked up the peace and quiet. Björn was a super nice and helpful host. On the way back, we booked our next weekend right away! Keep the place just the way it is ❤️

We spent three days at Björn’s place by the lake. We had a truly relaxing time. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect spot. Björn is super nice and helpful. The location right by the lake, surrounded by lots of forest, is beautiful. You can hear the nearby highway, but it’s not bothersome. We and our dogs felt very comfortable and will definitely be back! <3
The campsite, the lake, and the adjacent forest are absolutely stunning. We spent a few wonderful days here. We went out on the lake with our SUP. The campsites are hidden from view by the other sites around the lake, so you really feel like you’re all alone. Getting there was easy thanks to Björn. Björn is a super kind and helpful host. The farm shop is also highly recommended! We’d love to come back!
Our stay with Björn was simply wonderful!! We felt right at home from the very beginning. Communication was a breeze :) Once we arrived, his brother gave us a quick tour, and after that we really felt like we were in a quiet, secluded spot surrounded by nature, with a gorgeous lake!! We brought our dog along and loved the path around the lake! We’ll definitely be back :)

Unfortunately, the spot isn't very level for our Molly. We didn't bring enough leveling blocks to get it level. We have to leave. Björn himself said he'd fix it. We'd love to explore this great area more thoroughly then.😇🐕🦺🐕🦺
We had a great night at Björn's place, surrounded by nature. Björn is a wonderful host, and the spot was perfect for us and our off-road vehicle. Grilling and building a fire were no problem at all, and we'd love to come back! Thanks

A beautiful campsite surrounded by nature. Björn is a great host. In my opinion, the directions are also clearly explained. I’ll definitely be back. If you want your vehicle to be 100% level, you might want to bring some wheel chocks.
The description is fine. A small map showing the exact locations would be helpful, given all the side roads. Compared to other places, I think €24 per night is too much.
Simply perfect and uncomplicated for us. We had plenty of peace and quiet, an indescribable view, and the opportunity to hike for hours in the adjacent forest. As in any sand pit, there were of course a few motocross riders around, but they were obviously considerate. Communication with Björn and his father was friendly and uncomplicated. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful, hidden spot, right by the quarry pond. You can choose between a shady spot under the trees or a very sunny spot with a view of the quarry pond! It's very clean and great for swimming or SUPing. That's probably why it's an "insider tip" among the village youth... You can hear the B5 nearby a little, also the excavator operation during the day, but both very quiet because on the other side of the lake! I was allowed to be the first tenant on the site, I'm afraid the "insider tip" is over now... ;) The very friendly host Björn also has eggs etc. in the farm store and water can also be filled up....Great host, great place!
