Dear Guests, We moved to Reitland in 2023 after purchasing an old thatched-roof house in a secluded location that was in need of renovation. After some construction work on and inside the house, as well as landscaping the yard, we have been offering a campsite since 2026 for guests who want to enjoy nature and peace and quiet. One hundred percent of the revenue we generate here, thanks to you, is invested in the garden, ensuring that both the garden and the campsite continue to improve.

  • We had two wonderful days with Mike & Marco. They were incredibly kind hosts, and we had a great campsite all to ourselves. We were able to park in the garden next to a lovingly restored old house and enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet. For anyone looking for a quiet, natural setting, this is a truly fantastic location. Thanks to you both, and we hope to see you again soon. M&T

  • We highly recommend staying with Marco and Mike: They are both very warm, attentive, and helpful hosts, and the place is an oasis of calm and a source of energy. It’s wonderfully close to nature, and pheasants, frogs, gray herons, and long-eared owls are just a few of the animals that live nearby. The nearby Jadebusen offers beautiful sunsets, salt marshes, and mudflats. There’s plenty to discover in the area, such as the Varel harbor or the Zetel outdoor nature pool. We spontaneously extended our stay and would love to come back again and again.

  • An idyllic spot where hares and pheasants say “good night” to each other. With sweeping views across the pastures. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts! We felt very much at home.
