Pitch on the Alm 1800 m. Wonderful mountain panorama, fresh spring water, chilling out by the fish pond or jumping in after a hot sauna session and then barbecuing on the stone grill and enjoying a cool drink by the campfire. Driveway to the farm on asphalt. Gravel road to the alp. Wide road. Passable without four-wheel drive. However, my guests find the driveway adventurous. You should be able to drive. Everyone has managed it so far. See you there. The Almöhi Stefan.

With this cottage, Stefan offers his guests a beautiful and authentic place to stay. He is a warm and welcoming host who goes out of his way to ensure his guests’ comfort. We were able to enjoy the sauna and a refreshing dip in the small pond. With a few tasty regional treats that Stefan keeps in his fridge, we were able to round off the evening with him around the campfire. Our time there was perfect, and we’ll be back. Birgit and Oliver

We had a wonderful time staying with Stefan! The mountain views were simply breathtaking, and the host was extremely kind and helpful; communication was also smooth and hassle-free. Since it got pretty cold and snowed, we could always warm up in the cabin or, if necessary, even sleep there or meet up for a social get-together—for example, over some Romanian schnapps left by previous guests 😄 Greetings also to Marius and his family 🤗 Using the sauna was the icing on the cake in the cold weather. Our dog also felt right at home and had no problem with Stefan’s dogs. The fridge was stocked with both personal and regional products, some of which we happily took home with us at the end. It’s also perfect for emergencies when you’re short on bread or other small items—a great touch! Overall, you have everything you need, and we had a wonderful time. We’d love to come back 😊
