Exceptional site in a secluded location on the edge of the Harz Mountains, surrounded by fields and forest with a view of the Brocken. There are several spacious covered seating areas and a fireplace. Above the site there is a wonderful view over the town of Nordhausen.
Nearby bathing lakes (5 minutes' drive away) with excellent water quality. There are many excursion and activity options in the neighboring Harz Mountains.
We recommend the following excursion destinations in the region:
the Kyffhäuser monument, hike up the Brocken, the Bielen and Sundhäuser gravel lakes, the historic town of Stolberg/Harz and town of Quedlinburg, Barbarossa cave Rottleben and karst show cave Heimkehle, action at "Harzdrenalin".
This site is approx. 1 km from the town center and should only be used with off-road vehicles. Unpaved surface! Suitable for vans/ minibuses, off-road trucks and off-road motorcycles, MTBs. Not suitable for caravans or classic motorhomes.
Bookings for groups / several vehicles are also possible on request.
