Approx. 1km from the village in a secluded location. If visibility is clear, it is worth setting the alarm clock for a spectacular sunrise.

The Harz and Kyffhäuser regions offer many opportunities for excursions and activities.

We recommend the following excursion destinations:

Trödel- und Antikscheune Uthleben, hike to the Solquelle and burial mound Auleben, Bismarckturm Auleben (walking distance approx. 500 meters from the site), outdoor pool Uthleben, the Kyffhäuser monument, IFA Technik-Museum Nordhausen, Roßtrappe Bodetal, the Bielener and Sundhäuser Kiesseen lakes, tasting and tour of the traditional Nordhausen distillery, hike up the Brocken, the historic town of Stolberg/Harz and the town of Quedlinburg, Barbarossa Cave in Rottleben and the Heimkehle karst show cave, action at "Harzdrenalin".

In spring and fall, you can watch the impressive resting of cranes at the reservoir.

In the village there is a pizzeria, a snack bar, a bakery (traditional craft business), fresh fish from the Auleben fish farm and you are welcome to register for a wine tasting (elderberry wine Auleben).

Fire pit, covered seating and WC (dry toilet) available.

Access only for off-road vehicles. (buses/vans, off-road trucks, off-road motorcycles, MTBs). Unpaved surface! Not suitable for caravans or classic motorhomes.
