Quiet idyll in the foothills of the Black Forest

We are currently facing an extreme drought and high risk of wildfires. Given the circumstances and to protect our property and yours, we ask that you:

- Please do NOT leave rechargeable batteries, power banks, etc., UNATTENDED in the dry grass while charging.

Your campsite is idyllically situated among our walnut trees on the edge of the cherry orchard on our primary commercial farm. Behind the paved parking spot is the farm building, which offers shelter and shade. Facing forward, you’ll enjoy a view of our orchard, the forest, the vineyards, and the Black Forest, stretching all the way to the Hornisgrinde. Our farm is centrally located in the Black Forest Central/North Nature Park. Here you’ll find peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, yet still central enough to reach many great destinations in no time. A large, very well-marked network of hiking trails, great adventure trails for kids, and mountain bike routes (including downhill) await you. In 20 minutes, you can stroll through the city of Baden-Baden, and in 40 minutes, you’ll be in Strasbourg.

Depending on the season, you can see—and, if you’d like, participate in—what’s currently happening on our farm, including chicken farming, crop farming, fruit growing, and, on a small scale, vegetable gardening. Children are welcome to use my children’s vehicles by arrangement.

We’ve leveled the driving and parking area with new gravel, so everything stays clean even when it rains. We’ve also leveled the lawn area and reseeded it.
