Welcome to our farm! Located at an elevation of 410 meters, right on the border between Lauf and Sasbachwalden, a camping spot with Black Forest charm awaits you. Enjoy the sweeping view over the Rhine Valley—on a clear day, the panorama stretches all the way to Strasbourg, across Alsace, and into the Palatinate.

🪵 What awaits you here

Our farm is a place with character and Black Forest tradition. Here you’ll find:

• Our own distillery & schnapps fountain: Right on site (our campsite is located about 20 m above).

• ​Pure nature: Mariengrotte, old pear and cherry trees at the edge of the forest.

• ​Hiking & Activities: The famous Gaishöll Waterfalls are just 1.2 km away. The Sasbachwalden outdoor adventure pool is 1.5 km away.

• ​Neu-Windeck Castle Ruins: In Lauf, just 1.5 km away.

• ​Day trip destinations: Mummelsee and the Black Forest National Park are about a 13-minute drive away.

​📢 Current information (season & location)

​Spring, Summer & Fall:

• ​Weekend hustle and bustle: Since we’re located right on the popular Schnapsbrunnenweg 1 trail, things get busy on weekends when the weather is good for hiking. Between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, it can get a bit noisy due to hiking groups and bachelor parties—but things usually quiet down again quickly afterward.

​Winter:

• ​The low winter sun doesn’t reach us until late in the day and only briefly. Starting in late February, it gets sunnier again! However, the site remains ideal for winter barbecues or as a stopover while passing through (on February 7, starting at 1:00 PM, the sun shines through the trees and sets).

🚐 Important Information on Arrival & Parking Space

To ensure a smooth experience, please note the following:

• Vehicle dimensions: Suitable only for RVs up to a maximum length of 6.50 m. Longer vehicles are also permitted by arrangement!

• ​Directions: Please approach exclusively via Sasbachwalden (narrow paved residential street). You will receive detailed directions after booking.

• ​Maneuvering: There is not enough room to turn around at the site. You must be prepared to back up approximately 15 meters to park or exit.

🕙 Arrive & Relax

Your vacation starts without any rush here: Check in to your spot at your leisure starting at 12:30 PM. To ensure that the next nature lovers find a clean and clear spot, we ask that you vacate the site by 11:30 AM on your departure day.

​Maximum flexibility for you:

Does your travel schedule not quite match our hours? No problem! We have a buffer and alternative spot available. So if you arrive a little early or want to enjoy the area a bit longer after check-out, just let us know. We can almost always find a solution.
