Perfect view over the Rhine plain to Alsace

Parking space with panoramic views & Black Forest atmosphere Welcome to our farm! Located at an altitude of 410 meters, right on the border between Lauf and Sasbachwalden, you will find a parking space with a Black Forest atmosphere. Enjoy the sweeping views over the Rhine Valley – on a clear day, the panorama stretches as far as Strasbourg, across Alsace to the Palatinate.

🪵 What you can expect from us Our farm is a place with character and Black Forest tradition. Here you will find: • Our own distillery & schnapps fountain: Right on site (our parking space is located approx. 20 m above).

• Pure nature: Mariengrotte, old pear and cherry trees at the edge of the forest. • Hiking & experiences: The famous Gaishöll waterfalls are only 1.2 km away. The Sasbachwalden outdoor adventure pool is 1.5 km away. • Neu-Windeck castle ruins: In Lauf, only 1.5 km away.

• Excursion destinations: Mummelsee lake and the Black Forest National Park are approx. 13 minutes away by car. 📢 Current information (season & location)

Spring, summer, and fall: • Weekend hustle and bustle: As we are located directly on the popular Schnapsbrunnenweg 1 trail, it gets very busy on weekends when the weather is good for hiking. Between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., it can get noisy due to hiking groups and bachelor parties – but after that, things usually quiet down again quickly.

Winter: • The low winter sun reaches us late and only briefly. From the end of February, it gets sunnier again! However, the site is still ideal for winter barbecues or as a stopover when passing through (on February 7, from 1 p.m., the sun shines through the trees and sets).

🚐 Important information about arrival & parking space To ensure everything runs smoothly, please note the following points: • Vehicle dimensions: Only suitable for motorhomes up to a maximum length of 6.50 m. Longer vehicles are also possible by arrangement!

• ​Directions: Please only approach via Sasbachwalden (narrow paved residential road). You will receive detailed directions after booking. • ​Maneuvering: There is not enough space to turn around on the site. You must be prepared to reverse approximately 15 meters or park in a parallel parking space.

🕙 Arrive & relax Your vacation starts without any hassle here: Move into your spot at your leisure from 12:30 p.m. To ensure that the next nature lovers find a clean and vacant plot, we ask you to vacate the parking space by 11:30 a.m. on the day of departure.

Maximum flexibility for you: Your travel plans don't quite fit the times? No problem! We have a buffer and alternative space available.
