This pitch is located on a paved meadow at the edge of our property, which is situated at the very edge of the village. My husband and I live here with our two children and there are donkeys, sheep, chickens, our rooster Oskar and a tomcat within sight and earshot.
A small river meanders past in the immediate vicinity of the pitch, where you can also fish with a permit.
In the meadows and surrounding forests you can take short walks or long hikes and enjoy nature.
The two Hessian long-distance cycle routes R1 and R7a pass directly by the pitch, so that cycling enthusiasts can easily get their money's worth here.
The small castle town of Schlitz, approx. 2.5 km away, with its historic market square, picturesque half-timbered houses and romantic alleyways, is ideal for shopping or simply a day trip. There is also an outdoor swimming pool.
We have both a fire bowl and a small campfire site, which can be used by arrangement.
Due to the proximity to the river, it should be noted that the pitch is not accessible at times of high water.

A really lovely place right next to the bike path network. Very friendly hosts—everything was so easy. We felt right at home😍
The space on Jenny and Michael's property is wonderful. We were on our own and had a view of meadows and sheep. We were allowed to draw water from the house and charge our bike batteries. There are various cycling and hiking trails nearby. Unfortunately, the bad weather drove us away. We would have liked to stay longer.
We were passing through on our way from southern Germany to Denmark. The site is not far from the A7. Easy to find, cozy fenced, quiet garden. Parking the camper van (Pössl) was no problem. Nice short trip by bike to Schlitz and according to Jenny's father there is a nice pub with a beer garden 1.5 km away. A very successful stopover for us, but also certainly nice for longer trips with children.
Very nice and relaxed hosts. We had enough space with our caravan, which was also very nicely prepared. It was very quiet and pleasant. Many thanks
