Camping Vacations for Horseback Riders

At my equestrian facility, I offer you campsites where you can keep your own horse practically right on our “doorstep”!

Campers with their own horses will get their money’s worth here!

You can camp right on the riding facility grounds (electricity and water included!) and your horse will be housed in one of our spacious stalls or open-stable pens for the duration of your stay. This includes hay 2–3 times a day, fresh water via self-watering troughs, and hourly paddock access! The

mucking-out service can either be handled by you or booked as an add-on (€4/day)

Would you like to arrive with 2 or more horses? We’d be happy to reserve multiple stalls for you… please inquire about availability in advance!

Our indoor riding arena, outdoor arena, poles, and various obstacles for trail or calmness courses are at your disposal, as is the wonderfully varied terrain directly adjacent to the riding facility.

Great meadow trails and springy forest paths alternate with paved trails (hoof protection is recommended)!

Electricity is available at your stall, and fresh water can be “tapped.”

The campsites are located right next to the paddocks, so you’ll fall asleep and wake up to a view of the paddocks and horses!

We are part of the “Westerwald-Taunus zu Pferd e.V.” trail riding network!

We’re nestled in the heart of stunning natural surroundings, and nature lovers seeking relaxation are in perfect hands here!

Whether on horseback, on foot, by bike, by boat, or by canoe… our region offers fantastic opportunities for EVERYONE amidst diverse and beautiful natural scenery!

Near the farm lies the magnificent Kerkerbach Valley and the Hengen high plateau, which offers a unique view of the Limburg Basin on one side and the Feldberg in the Taunus on the other.

In town, there’s a country inn that serves excellent, home-style cuisine, has a spacious beer garden, and occasionally hosts special themed events!

The Lahn River is nearby and offers a wide range of opportunities for water sports and other recreational activities.

There are also many other interesting sights and recreational opportunities nearby:

Limburg a. d. Lahn: the cathedral, a wonderful old town, mini-golf, indoor and outdoor swimming pools,

Weilburg a. d. Lahn: the castle and castle park, as well as a charming old town, the Kubach Crystal Cave, and the Weilburg Zoo,

Also in the surrounding area (approx. 30 min.): the Westerwald Lake District, Emser Therme, Grube Fortuna, Wetzlar Climbing Forest, various castles, etc…

In addition, a major medieval event takes place once a year, attracting visitors from beyond Germany’s borders—the Freienfels Knights’ Tournament! From here, you can reach the venue in about 20–25 minutes!

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.

You can generally use “your” campsite as follows:

Check-in from 12:00 PM, please arrive by 6:00 PM at the latest (later check-in only by prior arrangement)

Check-out day: by 3:00 PM. (Other departure times by arrangement)

Prices include 2 adults + children up to 3 years old, electricity, and fresh water:

> Campsite (RV/trailer/quad bike or car with roof tent): 25 €

> Tent: 10 €

> Toilet use: 5 €/day

> Each additional person aged 3 and older: 5 €/day
