Here’s an absolute gem for fans of minimalist, nature-based camping.
It’s one of my hayfields, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, hidden on a hill at the edge of the forest.
If you’re self-sufficient, you can book here!
There’s no water or electricity here, but what you’ll find in abundance is wonderful peace and quiet, pure nature, and an incredibly stunning view into the distance!
You can usually spot deer, foxes, and hares here, roaming right in front of you on the meadow.
The campsite is secluded and hidden, yet easily and quickly accessible—about 15 minutes from Limburg on one side and Weilburg on the other. The nearest village is only about 2 km away.
If needed, a section of the meadow can be fenced off as a paddock for your horse. Please discuss this with me in advance, though, or check out my listing “Camping with Your Own Horse.” 😉
We’re guests in this beautiful natural setting, so I have a few requests…
> No loud music that disturbs the local wildlife
> Barbecues are allowed only with a fireproof mat designed for that purpose and a securely positioned grill
> Dogs and cats must be kept on a leash or in an enclosed area at all times!
> Open fires are not permitted due to the surrounding fast-burning, highly flammable brush.
I’d be delighted if people who love nature as much as I do could enjoy this truly special little corner of the world just as much as I do.

In a meadow
This is one of my hayfields. You can choose whether you'd like to park at the bottom of the field, where it's a bit more open, or in a more sheltered spot by a hedge or at the edge of the forest.

With a shady place
The overhanging tree canopies at the edge of the forest provide wonderful shade!

At/in the forest
The meadow is right on the edge of the forest, and you can even stand under the overhanging tree canopy

Dogs welcome
Dogs are very welcome at this site! However, to avoid disturbing or even endangering wildlife, your four-legged friend must be secured at all times! It doesn’t matter whether you use a fence or a (leash)—the main thing is that they’re safe! Please pick up after your dog and dispose of the waste in the regular trash (not in the woods, on trails, or in meadows!)—thank you for your cooperation!
2.5€ per night
Cats welcome
Same rules as for the dogs 😉
2€ per night
Horses welcome
Your horse is welcome to come along.
Please always discuss this with me in advance!!
You are generally responsible for setting up the fence, securing it with an electric fence system, and mucking out the stall daily (15€ per day)
Alternatively, your horse can have a nice stall or paddock at the riding facility—you’re welcome to use it as well, and your horse will be fully cared for (€30 per day, full board). Please be sure to clarify all of this in advance.

Fenced
On request, you can also book a paddock for your horse (€30) and a water supply (one-off €20).
Waste disposal
You can purchase a trash bag, which includes disposal fees. At the time of booking, we will check with the relevant waste management company or municipality to determine the current costs and pass them on to you.
Grey water disposal
Gray water can be disposed of on our farm!

You can book a hike (about 1 hour) with me and my ponies. Together, we’ll pick out the right pony for you, and then you can find out if you have true leadership qualities 😉 Or we can stay at the farm and spend our time grooming and petting the ponies… whichever you prefer!

Would you like to spend some time with our ponies? Want to pet them, groom them, lead them, or just learn a little more about horse behavior? Then our pony experience is just the thing for you. You’ll have the opportunity to spend about 1 hour learning from a horse expert and diving into the magical world of ponies together with me! Sessions tailored specifically for children are also available! A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 people must be booked. Prices are listed per session and person
You'll have the opportunity to join us in our daily stable work and learn a lot about horse care, grooming, and feeding. Of course, you're also welcome to lend a hand if you'd like.
Horse riding
At this time, we are unable to provide horses, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Beselich, Germany•Distance to
From the booking to the pitch about 30 min mega fast thanks for that. Anke gave us her cell phone number in case anything should happen. Now to the pitch itself > right next to the forest with a mega view over the valley and the peace and quiet is incredible. We were asked by the forester/hunter if we could stand there, which we welcome. It's about 15 minutes by car to the shops. Hiking is also an option, which we did not undertake due to time constraints. Anke is a great hostess. We will be back.
