Why square when you can have round :=)

Anyone entering the yurt is immediately enchanted by the unique feeling of space in this completely round dwelling. Unlike the square rooms we are used to, the view here can wander unhindered. You feel welcome, protected and immediately at ease. It is difficult to describe in words what makes a yurt so fascinating - you have to experience it for yourself.

Our yurt is a bedroom, dining room, living room and kitchen all in one. The rest is "done in the swimming pool". Jutta's yurt is located on the grounds of a beautifully landscaped natural swimming pool. The pool is more like a lake than a swimming pool in the usual sense. She has made herself comfortable there on a meadow in the far corner of the complex - far away from the hustle and bustle. The yurt guests can use the sanitary facilities (shower, WC) of the natural pool at any time and plunge into the cool water during the opening hours of the pool (the pool is open daily from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the summer months from Whitsun to around the beginning of September). Outside the opening hours of the baths, you have the area to yourself. A stream runs next to the yurt and you can hear its soothing ripple. You can't see the stream as it runs behind a densely overgrown fence. On the other side of the stream is a tent and camping site. It can get a little lively here in the summer months, but is quiet in the off-season. You can't see the tent and camping site, you can only hear it.

In the yurt there is a double bed (1.80m x 2.00m) from which you can watch the stars at night through the large glass dome. There is a dining table and a small improvised kitchen with a fridge, hob and a self-built sink. Here you can wash up with a water canister, kettle and bucket - the water is available at the swimming pool.

It's best to bring rubber boots for the path to the bathroom/toilet. If you have to go to the loo at night and are afraid of the long walk to the bathroom, we also have a small separate camping toilet.

A pellet stove will be purchased for the colder months.
