The hut is just outside the village, in a nice quiet location...
in the forest with a small pond. We have a fireplace, a fire barrel and plenty of wood.
There is also a barbecue.
Here you can relax to your heart's content. There are 2 hammocks, a Hollywood swing and a large sofa seating area. The covered terrace is a great place to spend time even when it rains.
There is a wood-burning stove in the house for cooking and it gets nice and cozy.
Crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans and much more are in the hut.
There is a double bed on the gallery for sleeping.
*We provide blankets and bed linen.
There is no electricity, only 2 solar panels and candles, kerosene lamps and two LED lamps.
The water comes from a spring.

There are many cycling and hiking trails all around.
In the neighboring village there is a beautiful natural swimming pool. There are many beautiful things to discover here.
We live on the border with Thuringia.
In the surrounding area there are castles, lost planes, historical places, mining, slate quarries, climbing walls, museums, pure nature, geological trails and much more.....

In the vicinity, there are still in Kronach, the Crans Mare, in Steinbach a/W an indoor swimming pool, in Sonneberg and Neustadt there are also very nice swimming pools.

In addition, there are two climbing gardens, but you would have to drive a bit.

Cross-country skiing is also possible.
Sledding can be done directly on the meadow near the cottage. We can lend you sledges with pleasure.

The cottage really was a dream and beautifully situated! Everything you need for a relaxing break was there :) Matthias and Susi are great hosts who are friendly and also ask if everything is ok. We will definitely be back :)
