Cabin in the woods with a pond

The cabin is located just outside the village, in a lovely, quiet spot...

in the woods with a small pond. We have a fire pit, a fire barrel, and plenty of firewood.

There’s also a grill.

Here you can relax to your heart’s content. There are 2 hammocks, a swing chair, and a large sofa set. The covered terrace is a great place to hang out, even when it rains.

Inside, there’s a wood-burning stove for cooking, and it gets nice and cozy warm.

Dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, and much more are provided in the cabin.

There is a double bed on the loft for sleeping.

There is no electricity, just 2 solar panels, candles, kerosene lamps, and two LED lamps.

The water comes from a spring.

All around, there are many biking and hiking trails.

In the neighboring village, there is a beautiful natural swimming pool. There are so many wonderful things to discover here.

We live on the border with Thuringia.

In the surrounding area, there are castles, abandoned planes, historic sites, mining sites, slate quarries, a climbing wall, museums, unspoiled nature, geological trails, and much, much more.....
