Panorama between Teutoburg Forest & Weserbergland

here at the Rott you will find the pitch on 1000 square meters of flat meadow, surrounded by fields. From here you have a 360° panoramic view of the hills of the Teutoburg Forest and the Weserbergland. In the immediate vicinity is a nature reserve with several renaturalized quarry ponds and diverse wildlife (e.g. water buffalo). You can go walking, hiking and cycling there.

There is a supermarket in the village of Müssen approx. 1.5 km from the pitch. The town of Lage is approx. 4 km away. The historic town of Detmold is approx. 10 km away and offers numerous sights in the surrounding area, e.g. the Hermann Monument with climbing park, Externsteine, a large open-air museum, bird park, eagle observatory and much more.

You will also find the nearest fresh and gray water station in Detmold.

At our campsite, you must be completely self-sufficient in terms of electricity, water and toilets. Please leave the pitch as you found it. Dogs must remain on a lead.
