Welcome to the Teutoburg Forest
Here, you’ll find a spot half-surrounded by forest, right on the mountainside.
You can camp almost out of sight and enjoy some downtime by the 🔥 in the evening. (Except during periods of severe drought)
For hiking, there’s the Externsteine, Herrmann’s Monument, the Bird Park, Falkenburg, and much more to discover.
Berlebeck itself is always worth a stroll.
Signposted circular hiking trails start right here on-site.
Germany’s largest eagle sanctuary is located in the immediate vicinity.
A REWE supermarket, bakery, and tobacco shop are located about 2 km away in the neighboring town.
There’s also a Sparkasse ATM.
We’re here to help with any further tips or questions.
During the summer months, there’s a heated outdoor pool down in the village.
Restrooms and cold showers are available by arrangement (for an additional fee), as are cold drinks and ice cream in the summer.
It’s best to briefly message us in advance with any questions—we can discuss many things (e.g., whether it’s okay to bring dogs at that time). It’s always helpful to let us know your estimated arrival time, whether you’ll be self-sufficient, and what kind of vehicle or, for example, tent you’ll be bringing.
If you can’t make your estimated arrival time, please let us know again as soon as possible.

We spent the last few days with Sebastian and Jenny and had an absolutely wonderful time in this very special little corner of the world. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sebastian—and, of course, the goats Guinness and Cookie. Over a relaxed conversation, he explained everything we needed to know and immediately made us feel welcome. We’ll especially remember how patiently and warmly Sebastian treated our curious kids (ages 9 and 13). His suggestion to explore the forest and build our own bows there was, along with the chickens and goats, an absolute highlight: Our city kids—who are usually pretty glued to their screens—suddenly turned into little hunters, explorers, and adventurers, and we could hardly get them out of the forest. 😊 Sebastian and Jenny were also incredibly helpful and easygoing whenever we had any other questions or concerns. They strike just the right balance between warm hospitality and the necessary discretion, allowing guests to fully enjoy the peace and freedom of this place for themselves. You can really tell how much they care about ensuring their guests have a wonderful, relaxing, and unforgettable time—and they definitely succeeded in doing just that for us. We felt at home from the very first moment, were able to completely unwind, and are taking home many wonderful memories. Thank you so much for your hospitality and this special time—we’d love to come back! ❤️
The accommodation was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Sebastian was very hospitable and explained everything we needed to know. The location was quiet, clean, and very beautiful. I highly recommend staying here.
A really beautiful location—we had everything we needed, and our expectations were exceeded. Jenny and Sebastian fit right in and were incredibly friendly and attentive—thank you so much for that! We felt very at home at your little ranch, and we immediately took Guiness and Cookie into our hearts. The area around Berlebeck is beautiful and perfect for exploring—we’ll definitely be back!

Sebastian was a nice and laid-back host. Communication before and during our stay was great. A fantastic place with a great location for bike rides and hikes. We'd love to come back.
