Welcome to the Teutoburg Forest

Half of our pitch is surrounded by forest, right on the mountain.

You can stand almost invisible and enjoy your time out in the evening 🔥 (except in very dry weather)

In terms of hiking, there are the Externsteine/Herrmansdenkmal/Vogelpark/Falkenburg and much more to discover.

Berlebeck itself is also always worth a walk.

Signposted circular hiking trails directly on site.

Germany's largest eagle observatory is in the immediate vicinity.

REWE / bakery / tobacco goods are about 2 km away in the neighboring village.

There is also a Sparkasse cash machine.

For further tips and questions we are at your disposal.

In the summer months there is a heated outdoor swimming pool down in the village.

WC and cold shower possible by arrangement (extra charge) / also cold drink/ice cream in summer

All questions are best addressed briefly in advance by message/you can talk about many things (e.g. whether it is suitable to bring dogs at the time) It is always interesting to know in advance the arrival time / self-sufficient and possibly which vehicle or e.g. tent

Otherwise just have a good time

  • The accommodation was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Sebastian was very hospitable and explained everything we needed to know. The location was quiet, clean, and very beautiful. I highly recommend staying here.

  • A really beautiful location—we had everything we needed, and our expectations were exceeded. Jenny and Sebastian fit right in and were incredibly friendly and attentive—thank you so much for that! We felt very at home at your little ranch, and we immediately took Guiness and Cookie into our hearts. The area around Berlebeck is beautiful and perfect for exploring—we’ll definitely be back!

  • Sebastian was a nice and laid-back host. Communication before and during our stay was great. A fantastic place with a great location for bike rides and hikes. We'd love to come back.

  • A great, well-maintained spot right on the edge of the forest with a perfect lawn (somewhat uneven in places—for a longer stay, I would have used wedges) and a secluded clearing with a fire pit, a swivel grill, a table (very original—made from an old cable drum), and (school) chairs. All of this makes you want to linger. Sebastian is friendly, welcomes you personally, and explains everything in detail. Since I’m self-sufficient, I didn’t have any experience with add-on options, but upon request, it seems quite a few things are possible. I really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings with wonderful hiking trails, views, and (if desired) tourist attractions—I would definitely come back. The only thing is that the driveway is a bit tricky at 6 meters due to the incline and tight curve, but if you take it easy, you’ll make it 😉 A lovely little spot
