If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you've come to the right place!
We offer a quiet, sheltered and paved pitch in a secluded location in the countryside near the Elbe with the Elbe hiking trail.
Pitch size: length 8 m, width: 3 m, height 3.00 m, access 4 m wide.
Extensive and excellent network of cycle paths. Our property with woodland borders on a large nature conservation and FFH (Flora-Fauna-Habitat) area. It is also one of the largest European bird resting areas. In Otterndorf (20 km) there is a large indoor and outdoor saltwater swimming pool.
A natural outdoor pool in Krummendeich is nearby.
Freiburg has its own harbor with Elbe feeder.
The pitch is located on the grounds of a 170 year old half-timbered school. The former school is used by us as a residential building.
The North Sea with its unique Wadden Sea can be reached from Cuxhaven in 45 minutes by car.

Despite the weather not being quite as good as we’d hoped, we had a really wonderful time at this campsite. The quiet, secluded location and the beautiful surroundings make this place something special—perfect for unwinding and enjoying yourself. We’d especially like to give a shout-out to Jan: He’s incredibly helpful, accommodating, and very kind. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. This was our third time staying with Jan, and we’d go back anytime. A lovely spot under old trees, right next to the horse pasture—a great base for bike rides. We’d have a quick chat with Jan every evening, and he’d bring us fresh rolls in the morning—what more could you ask for?! We highly recommend him.
Jan was a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thanks to his information and willingness to help, we were able to find our way around this beautiful area quickly and easily... A great, shady spot under old linden trees... Highly recommended—thank you so much for the wonderful time...
Staying with Jan was truly a special experience. A beautiful campsite under old trees, overlooking neighboring horse pastures—just the kind of place where you can’t help but feel at ease. On top of that, there was the overwhelming openness and trust that Jan showed us. Literally every door was open to us; we were invited to use anything we needed. — Pure trust. — All of this was unobtrusive, yet he was always genuinely interested in connecting with us. We felt more than at home. Our time with him went by way too fast. There was still so much for us to discover in the area. Unfortunately, our time was limited. Next time, we’ll plan things differently...
