Staying with Jan was truly a special experience. A beautiful campsite under old trees, overlooking neighboring horse pastures—just the kind of place where you can’t help but feel at ease. On top of that, there was the overwhelming openness and trust that Jan showed us. Literally every door was open to us; we were invited to use anything we needed. — Pure trust. — All of this was unobtrusive, yet he was always genuinely interested in connecting with us. We felt more than at home. Our time with him went by way too fast. There was still so much for us to discover in the area. Unfortunately, our time was limited. Next time, we’ll plan things differently...
Great place, very nice and helpful host, we enjoyed our time. Thank you very much.
Pitch in a secluded location under almost 200-year-old lime trees. Warm, caring hospitality with personalized information about the region. Communication very courteous and prompt. Jan is approachable at all times and a pure human being! Thank you. Being a guest in a large private retreat with even the possibility of using the toilet, organic waste disposal (compost), garbage, electricity, water. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view of the paddock. Cycling, walking in the marshland and to the dyke. Dogs are also allowed here. We wish YOU, dear Jan, great guests and would love to come back to YOU. Thank you for the quiet and beautiful time.
An absolutely idyllic place, quiet, many farms all around, view of a paddock, you are super fast on many lonely paths to the Elbe, perfect for bike rides or hiking. Place with shopping and dining options in the area. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back!
The main road is a bit noisy
