On the meadow is a high stand with a small sun terrace,
which invites you to linger with a wonderful view of the forest and also has enough space for two air mattresses.
Also suitable for camping, toilets available.
Womos up to 7m long should not be a problem, if necessary we will guide you via our second driveway over the forest path.
The site is a little uneven here and there, wheel chocks are recommended, we are happy to help and are working on it.
Well suited for those seeking relaxation and peace and quiet, not suitable for
loud party people

Waste disposal
For a small fee depending on the amount
0,50 Euro/ 1,- because we have to buy the official garbage bags of the city Herzberg, waste glass , cans ,plastic, composites , waste paper as well as compostable of course free of charge.
We are happy if you separate your garbage !
Grey water disposal
Only small amounts over sink / toilet . Washing up possibility for dishes available .
Larger quantities of gray / black water can be disposed of nearby in Osterode at the pitch Aloha Aqualand for a small fee.

Watching wildlife
With a bit of luck, deer rut from around mid-September.
Capercaillie enclosure about 3 km through the forest,
very interesting, and of course all the animals that are native to the Harz: Birds of prey, swallows, songbirds, wagtails and much more.
Foxes, raccoons (please don't store any garbage outside the tent/caravan), hares, wild boar, roe deer and our lucky Romanian dog from animal welfare, who is also sometimes wild, but in reality very gentle 😉 : is a female dog, called Luka and barks a lot with nothing behind her, you can see in a photo : the blonde 😀

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, a great campsite, beautiful natural surroundings, restrooms and a common area when you need them—it doesn’t get any better than this!
Very nice hosts, everything very uncomplicated and a wonderful quiet spot with lots of animals
We stayed with the really welcoming and friendly host family and in the meadow we found the perfect campsite, with a useful high stand next to it. It is a peaceful farm with horses and various small animals. In the evening fox, deer and other wildlife could be observed and the meadows and surrounding forest teemed with birdlife. There are excellent facilities for camping and we would be happy to return in the future
Tip top! Fantastic location, tranquillity and generous people, what more could a camper want? I spent two nights in the high stand with a sleeping mat and sleeping bag and would love to come back. Highly recommended!
