We stayed with the really welcoming and friendly host family and in the meadow we found the perfect campsite, with a useful high stand next to it. It is a peaceful farm with horses and various small animals. In the evening fox, deer and other wildlife could be observed and the meadows and surrounding forest teemed with birdlife. There are excellent facilities for camping and we would be happy to return in the future

Tip top! Fantastic location, tranquillity and generous people, what more could a camper want? I spent two nights in the high stand with a sleeping mat and sleeping bag and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

A great place to simply relax and unwind far away from the city. Christian and Manuela offer up to 3 pitches here. There is a toilet, which you can use for a fee, electricity (don't forget the adapter to Schuko!) and there is even a lounge for the village community, which you can also use and where you can even get drinks for a donation. You are surrounded by nature, fields, horse pastures and forest. If you want, you can set off on a hike or mountain bike ride from here. There is a tree house with places to linger and a fire bowl, which you can also use for a fee (firewood). Dogs are also very welcome. An absolute tip and recommendation from me!

We felt very comfortable with Manu and Christian. Too bad we were only passing through, because we would have liked to stay longer. Everything is done with so much love and it is totally quiet. For cold evenings there is also a lounge with a stove and all kinds of drinks and food. Thank you!

We spent three lovely days on this great pitch in perfect weather. Super nice hosts with a property that is really fantastically situated. The view across the meadows to the forest, which is great for walking the dogs, is fantastic. We felt so comfortable that we will definitely be back next year. With the electricity connection directly at the pitch, the possibility to fill up your water supply and the small, clean toilet, you have everything you need for your vacation. I stayed with a friend at Manuela and Christian's property for 2 nights over the weekend. We were warmly and lovingly welcomed on arrival and felt very comfortable from the very first second. Our expectations were more than exceeded when we were able to experience the entire property and the hospitality of these two! The site is perfect for camping. We camped at this spot for one night and it was really nice there, the communication was very good and there is a lot on offer. The people are super friendly and we can highly recommend this spot to anyone.

I was allowed to pitch my tent with my son at Christian's for a few days. I can absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet away from the tourist trails in the Harz. Lovely people so camping is still fun :-)

We had 4 wonderful days with Christian and Manu with our 4 children, with a fox view and a campfire every evening. We would have preferred not to leave at all. The place was beautiful, the facilities excellent, the hosts always friendly and helpful. The "tree house" with a sleeping area for adventurous older children and seating for breakfast underneath was really great. We would love to come back again.

Our now third stay in Herzberg was again to our complete satisfaction. Simply a wonderful place with everything you need in great surroundings, warm and generous hosts. We will definitely come again.

Here absolutely everything fits. Secluded with absolute tranquility. We had the place completely to ourselves. Electricity is available and also a toilet could be used. We have felt very comfortable. The proximity to the Harz Mountains makes it ideal to turn great rounds with the E-MTB. Absolutely recommend.

A wonderful spot to relax and that too with immensely friendly people as hosts who appreciate it. It could not be more uncomplicated and better. We will be happy to come back!

Great stopover. After a nice welcome briefly parked the camper and get a little tour of the yard, after which you feel more or less at home. The pitch is really great and nice and quiet. Very happy again and then also gladly times for several days

Thank you for the great pitch. We stood at the high stand, saw red deer, have slept super quiet. It rained and we were allowed to make ourselves comfortable inside. Manu has still put wood and offered us her freshly baked cake. Such warm hosts are not often. We will definitely come again.

Very friendly and uncomplicated hosts. The place was super with lots of peace and some extras. Especially the cozy sitting area under the high stand helped us through a few rainy days! We had booked 2 days and went on 5 days later. Gladly we come again!

5 stars for Manu, Christian and the place are more than appropriate. Christian and Manu were incredibly nice, the place is totally beautiful and is super quiet. The view is really fantastic as in the photo and the fireplace makes the place really optimal. There is a proper toilet and an indoor space in case it rains. There is also a kind of small kiosk. As a bonus, you have a great view of the horses from the square. Overall, you can only give the place the full score.

Christian and Manu welcomed us with open arms, eyes and ears and after a short yet rich tour we immediately felt at home. Despite the rather modest weather, we had a good time in the Harz Mountains and with the great Hochsitz.

We used the accommodation as a stopover to the north and were not disappointed. Very nice hosts and the place extremely idyllic location. We had the opportunity to use our own fire bowl, but could also have used that of our hosts. The use of a clean outdoor restroom and the opportunity to get us chilled drinks rounded out the start of our Whitsun vacation. We will be back!

We were there for one night. Right from the first second we felt in good hands. Manu and Christian were great hosts. The place was just perfect for us - scenic great location directly on the forest with a view of the national park or to the castle Herzberg, in addition it is very quiet (location at the end of a dead end). We had quite cool and rainy weather, so the covered seating directly on the site, the fire bowl and the lounge with cold and especially warm drinks were very convenient. In addition, we were wonderfully warmly welcomed by our hosts and supplied with fresh eggs. Supermarket and baker can be reached in just under 3 km distance. A special pleasure were the numerous animals on the premises. We felt absolutely comfortable and hope to return soon.

It was pure relaxation. Christian has instructed me via WhastApp best and offered me any help. Since I did not need it, I just enjoyed the beautiful place in the middle of the greenery. Thanks for that.

The place at Manu and Christian is very nice and quiet at the edge of the forest. There is a lounge area with refrigerator and a washing up facility. The toilet is clean. Directly from the farm go hiking trails in the national park. We had a very nice and unfortunately short stay.

A beautiful place! The site is quiet and the view in the morning from the camper priceless! The property and the areas we were allowed to use are very lovingly designed. For us with our Microcamper was especially the outdoor Abwaschmöglich a blessing and of course the toilet house which was super clean and tidy and even has a radio :) Also the coffee machine made our eyes shine! There is really a lot on offer and a lot to explore. Christian and Manu seemed very warm to us, we have never been welcomed SO joyfully and although we arrived unscheduled unfortunately very late in the evening. Even that was not a problem. We had it very good there!

The place of recreation is located between forest and meadow very quiet, enough space for all 'campers' and the hosts as if by intuition always at the right time in the right place. We spontaneously requested in the morning and received confirmation within a very short time. Upon arrival Manuela and Christian greeted us warmly and showed us everything. Hosts as you can not imagine better, even a child punch for my daughter was hot and also for me one would have been ready. The site is located directly on a paddock with a fantastic view over a large meadow and the forest. Again and again gladly, so one imagines camping away from the crowded places! Very warm welcome from the innkeeper Manu. There was even freshly baked bread with homemade lard - delicious. Very beautifully situated pitch. Even in bad weather you can stay here longer. There is a very comfortably furnished lounge that leaves nothing to be desired. For the kids there is a playground and a guinea pig enclosure. Next time we will stay longer. We had a super stay with Manu and Christian on the farm! Here it lacks nothing! The great gazebo has offered us shelter in the rain and in the fridge is always a cold beer waiting. On the pitch out of sight of the house you have your peace, and if you still need something, Manu and Christian are very helpful! Another plus is that you can start hiking directly from the farm and thus do not have to move the bus. Manu is a super hostess and has shown us with full enthusiasm everything and explained - let you definitely show the beautiful chickens :) for a small fee we were even spoiled with a delicious salad from their own cultivation. If again times in the Harz, we look in any case again! Yvonne, Robert and Matilda :)

Who is looking for peace and quiet is right here, great place, hiking trails in front of the door, we were lucky with the weather and could watch wildlife from our pitch, we were very warmly welcomed and recommend this place unconditionally, thank you very much

Our hosts were very helpful. There was even chilled beer for a small fee and the tip for the delivery service to provide us with pizza or burgers in the evening was great. You had a fantastic view into the greenery ( forest and meadows and who likes animals, guinea pigs, cats, horses ... before. Really nice!

We received a super friendly welcome from the whole family. It was so relaxed that it was a pity to stay only one night! Beer is available chilled for an amount into the "little pig ". In bad weather can sit comfortably with in a hut. And if you do not feel like cooking, there is a delivery service for pizza and burgers! Gladly again!

We immediately felt at home and children and dog were more than welcome. For us there was the all-round care package 😉 Thank you very much for this great weekend. A dreamlike place in a beautiful landscape. Not far from Herzberg am Harz. The welcome was warm and the hosts are very sympathetic. We stay immediately another night and will certainly come again. The campsite is highly recommended!

We have booked quite spontaneously and were super warmly welcomed. The site is super with beautiful views of a pasture with forest edge. Very idyllic and relaxing. The existing toilet was super clean and everything there that you need. We are satisfied all around and can highly recommend the pitch at Manu and Christian! The pitch is very quiet at night and has a great location. Who likes nature and forest, is exactly right here. The toilet is cleaned every day, so is super hygienic and a sink you can also use, which is especially handy for small campers. Manu and Christian are great people and great hosts. They are totally flexible and accommodating, if you ever need something. One evening we were even invited to eat tarte flambée and we ate fresh eggs from the farm for breakfast. The welcome was so warm that we immediately felt at home. If you want to take a deep breath and let go, you are in good hands with Christian and Manu on your lovingly maintained farm. The tranquility there is soon not to be believed. Also for "not hikers" the national park offers relaxing walks. It was the hoped for relaxing place where we enjoyed every minute in nature. Here is absolute peace and pure nature. Fresh chicken eggs were available right next door. The hosts are very friendly. The hiking trails are perfectly signposted. We thank you dear Manuela and Christian for your hospitality. This is how you imagine a relaxed stay.

We had an excellent stay at Christian's. The hosts gave us a warm welcome. Peace, relaxation and a place to warm up is also available if the weather does not play along. Hikes and bike tours are directly possible from there. We will be happy to come back...

Beautiful site with great views, nice and uncomplicated hosts and good hiking (or cycling). The little extras are still on top, such as the high stand (with small hut also as a rain shelter), a bookable yard toilet, a lounge, a beautiful garden ... I felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back.

We have used this portal for the first time and with this pitch immediately hit a bull's eye. Very friendly and flexible hosts and the location just great. We felt super comfortable and enjoyed the absolutely quiet nature with its beautiful viewpoints. Hiking tours in the national park start right outside the door. We will definitely come back again. The approach to the site is a bit steep and narrow (so nothing for fat ships). But otherwise it was a very nice quiet place. The hosts are super nice and we were well cared for.
