Secluded location on the orchard with forest & stream view

We offer a very rural campsite in the Allgäu region, nestled among apple trees in a small hamlet next to our house. The site is located on a meadow with a view of the forest and a small stream, at the foot of a small hill where you can enjoy the sun all day long—especially the evening sun and the sunset—while camping. Shade from the fruit trees and the nearby forest is available, especially in the morning.

The neighboring meadow is used for organic farming, so you can experience some real country air ;-) If it gets too busy for you during the main growing season, we’re sure to find an alternative spot.

On a walk, you’ll get a magnificent view of the mountains on a clear day.

Shopping options starting at 2.5 km, as well as restaurants, a pizzeria, a café, a butcher, a bakery, supermarkets, a drugstore, a wine shop, honey sales, Greek olive oil, eggs, and cheese—several local producers can be easily reached by bike.

There are also many opportunities for hikes and excursions. Lake Constance is about 35–40 km away, and the Alps are about 50 km away. Our little dog Cindy, visiting cats from the neighboring farm (a small cattle farm), and our free-range chickens round out the rural idyll. Forest animals, such as deer or foxes, are also very close by and may pay a visit when you’re not looking. They are usually shy and can only be seen from a distance. However, we have heard reports of stolen shoes, which young foxes apparently view as toys. We therefore recommend not leaving shoes outside.
