Nearby are 3 Cameroon sheep and 20 chickens with 4 roosters! Electricity and fresh water are available. Waste water can be disposed of on site.
Dogs welcome by arrangement. Barbecue and campfire possible by arrangement in the existing fire bowl (fire hazard, short distance to the forest). Firewood for a nice evening is available for five euros.
Ideal starting point for cycling tours in the Odenwald. Babenhausen and its districts are connected to the German Half-Timbered Road, there is a castle, a Territorial Museum and other sights.
You can be in Darmstadt in 25 minutes by train, or in Aschaffenburg on the Main. Water sports are also possible here.

As always, everything was great! I stay there regularly with my roof tent and dog (whether on the meadow at the edge of the forest or in the horse paddock). Both are great, and I’ve never had any problems so far. A very idyllic, quiet spot with plenty of nearby options for walking the dog. Great hosts. I’d love to come back again and again 😊

The location is very idyllic, but easily accessible via well-maintained paths. Electricity, water, a restroom, and various laundry facilities are available. The path to the restroom took us past numerous chickens and a beautiful vegetable garden. Andreas welcomed us and asked if we needed anything. We also met some very nice neighbors there. Babenhausen was also worth a visit. We’d love to come back sometime.
