Nearby are 3 Cameroon sheep and 20 chickens with 4 roosters! Electricity and fresh water are available. Waste water can be disposed of on site.
Dogs welcome by arrangement. Barbecue and campfire possible by arrangement in the existing fire bowl (fire hazard, short distance to the forest). Firewood for a nice evening is available for five euros.
Ideal starting point for cycling tours in the Odenwald. Babenhausen and its districts are connected to the German Half-Timbered Road, there is a castle, a Territorial Museum and other sights.
You can be in Darmstadt in 25 minutes by train, or in Aschaffenburg on the Main. Water sports are also possible here.

We had a wonderful time at Andreas’s place. Surrounded by horses, sheep, fruit trees, and plenty of fruits and vegetables, it’s just a great place to camp. The property is beautifully peaceful; it smells absolutely wonderful—like strawberries right now—and you can tell from everything around you that a lot of love went into designing the property. We’d love to come back!
