Electricity and fresh water are available. Waste water can be disposed of in the village.
Bathroom (WC with shower) can be booked for a flat rate of 14,-€ per night from the second night for 10,-€. Plus 1x 5,- for the final cleaning (makes 29,-€ for 2 days or 19,-€ for 1 day)
Garden sauna can be booked on site for 25,-€ per day.
Dogs welcome by arrangement.
Barbecue and campfire possible by arrangement in the existing fire bowl (fire hazard, short distance to the forest) for five euros there is firewood for a nice evening.
Ideal starting point for cycling tours in the Odenwald.
Babenhausen and its districts are connected to the German Half-Timbered Road, there is a castle, a Territorial Museum and other sights. You can be in Darmstadt in 25 minutes by train, or in Aschaffenburg on the Main. Water sports are possible here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was just as described—actually, it was even nicer! 😉👍🏻 A beautiful, idyllic campsite right next to the horse paddock. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. The sauna with a view of the paddock is the absolute highlight and offers pure relaxation. The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a lovely surprise, we even received some fresh jam when we left. Thank you so much for the great weekend—we’d love to come back! 😊
A beautiful spot with plenty of peace and privacy. Andreas is a great host—very friendly and helpful. Everything is well-maintained, the bathroom is spotless, and it’s the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended!
We stayed at the Pferdekoppel last weekend with our rooftop tent. The place is beautiful and perfect if you just want to unwind. Andreas is very friendly and helpful; he quickly explained how everything works. Other than that, you’re completely on your own. We would recommend this place anytime, especially because of the sauna (which we didn’t use due to the heat) and the very clean bathroom and the well-maintained property overall...
It’s starting to feel like coming home. I’ve been to this campsite four times already because it has everything I need: peace and quiet, comfort, and a great area for walking. Many of my friends love this place just as much as I do and enjoy coming to visit. Thank you for that.
