⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was just as described—actually, it was even nicer! 😉👍🏻 A beautiful, idyllic campsite right next to the horse paddock. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. The sauna with a view of the paddock is the absolute highlight and offers pure relaxation. The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a lovely surprise, we even received some fresh jam when we left. Thank you so much for the great weekend—we’d love to come back! 😊
Unfortunately, our cat got bitten by something again, so we had to rush to the vet and had to cancel at the last minute. We’re looking forward to next time even more now! 😊🙏🏽 Best regards, Tamara & Alex

We stayed at the Pferdekoppel last weekend with our rooftop tent. The place is beautiful and perfect if you just want to unwind. Andreas is very friendly and helpful; he quickly explained how everything works. Other than that, you’re completely on your own. We would recommend this place anytime, especially because of the sauna (which we didn’t use due to the heat) and the very clean bathroom and the well-maintained property overall...

A beautiful and quiet campsite....
A very nice and peaceful spot. The occasional train didn't bother me. I parked by the paddock near the sauna. I even saw wild geese on the other side of the tracks. And thanks to Andreas for the chat.
The campsite is just as beautiful as described. Andreas is friendly and helpful. We went on a lovely bike ride through the woods to the watchtower and came across ostriches, emus, and Bavarians along the way.

We are repeat offenders ... this is the second time we have stayed with Andreas, as the place is great ... very friendly host, above-average facilities (e.g. toilet, firewood provided, sauna and a bath which can be booked in addition), - and again the same conclusion in short, I don't know what could be done better. Gladly again...
With winter camping at -10 degrees, we once again had a wonderfully quiet place to camp. As always, Andreas was an excellent host and the extra portion of firewood helped us through the frosty time.

It was our first time at this place with our children and at first we were a little worried about how our children would like it at this time of year as it was already quite cold. However, thanks to the possibility of sitting by the open fire, our children were thrilled and we spent an unforgettable evening together in the beautiful sauna. I would especially like to emphasize the helpfulness and friendliness of the host Andreas - you can feel that everything is done with heart and for the comfort of the visitors of this wonderful, fairytale place, which is located in a small forest and yet only five minutes by bike from the stores. I can highly recommend this place!
We would love to come back! Andreas brought us a big box of firewood, the sauna is one of the nicest we've had, and the bathroom is chic too. The extras were absolutely worth it! Thank you!

We were there for one night as we were passing through. Unfortunately. The place is great. Sauna and bathroom just great. Andreas is a very nice host. We can only recommend it.
Super nice place. Very well laid out grounds. There are pitches for several guests, but you are so far apart that you don't disturb each other. There are fire bowls at every pitch for a campfire in the evening. Located far out of town and therefore quiet. Nice host, were welcomed briefly, telephone arrangements were super easy.

The hosts are very friendly. I only booked the pitch 2 hours before arrival. When I arrived, Andreas was on a tour and checked with the guests to see if everything was OK. I was then shown to my pitch straight away and given instructions. The pitch itself is really beautiful. I was standing on a meadow orchard, there was a paddock behind the tent and I had to go through the goat enclosure to use the dry toilet. It was all very idyllic. There were still several visitors on pitches. But the pitches are nicely spread out, so I only had brief contact with my "direct" neighbor. The hosts came by again in the morning and asked if I needed anything else. The price of €27 was quite high (the highest I've ever paid on a pitch or campsite) but it was really worth it. If I visit again, I will definitely stay there again. 😊

A wonderful place - absolutely recommendable! We spent one night here - and were thrilled! The setting is quiet, right on the edge of the forest, with lots of space, nature and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The site is very well-kept, clean and spacious - ideal for camping, playing and relaxing. Special thanks to the owner Andreas: extremely friendly, helpful and pleasantly uncomplicated. You feel welcome and in good hands. Thanks for the wooden cutlery 😉! Unfortunately, our stay was far too short - we would have liked to stay longer. For all those who are looking for a relaxing, natural and familiar place to camp, this place is an absolute recommendation! Thank you very much, Andreas.
It was our first stay booked through Hinterland and everything was as described. Andreas came by to check on everything. A very nice contact. All in all, a successful start to our motorhome vacation this year. The only caveat: the rooster started crowing at 3:00 in the morning 😂😂😂. All in all, a great experience and highly recommended. We had a perfect weekend with Andreas on a pitch that is well thought out and made with attention to detail. Nice ground level, toilet very clean, covered seating, everything well maintained. We could choose where we wanted to stand and we were offered an additional pitch where it wasn't so windy because the weather wasn't so good. Communication was smooth and friendly. The animals were a highlight for our granddaughter. A very quiet, beautiful pitch that can only be recommended. We would love to come back.

We spontaneously decided to spend the night with Andreas and didn't regret it. The place was idyllic next to the horses, with apple trees around us, and the fire bowl with wood was already waiting for us on arrival. Everything was clean and tidy, including the compost toilet. Andreas was very friendly and provided detailed information on how to get there, so it was very easy to find the site. We really enjoyed it. Thank you very much!

We received a very friendly welcome and were then allowed to spend the night in a very nice place. Our daughter in particular really enjoyed the horses in the paddock in the morning. We are very happy to recommend the place!

Uncomplicated friendly
Unfortunately we were unable to travel due to illness, but Andreas responded really well. Very good communication in general. We will definitely make up for our stay and are already looking forward to it!

Wow. I would actually like to award an extra star. The place is very idyllic, the bathroom a dream and Andreas a very warm host. We stayed here for three days and enjoyed it to the full. A detour to Frankfurt (by car), a cycle tour to Aschaffenburg (approx. 20 km) and a cycle tour to Darmstadt (including Mathildenhöhe). DA is just under 30 km away. About 5 km from the camp is a recommended restaurant (Langfeldsmühle). And a sundowner at the paddock in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay with Andreas and would love to come back. Peter

We stayed here for 2 nights and used this location for a trip to Frankfurt (there is a direct train into the city). Excellent place also for relaxation. Water and electricity are available for guests. You can use the shower and toilet separately (newly renovated 5*))) In the morning you can watch horses grazing nearby.

We were there for 3 days with our camper van. It's a fantastic place, I couldn't imagine a better one! Quiet and restful, green, relaxing at breakfast watching the horses in the paddock, electricity and even a bathroom with shower. Andreas gave us a very warm welcome. An absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a place in the area for one or more days.

First one, then three and in the end it was six days. That shows how comfortable I felt. Andreas is an attentive host. I wanted for nothing. The promised eggs tasted wonderful. And the roosters? Well, they crow, but that's the way it is in nature. The bathroom is pure camper luxury. The hiking trails from the campsite are endless. Fields, meadows and forests, just the way I like it. Thank you for this great time.
We received a very warm welcome from Andreas. He also organized an extension cable for the electricity. We were given great tips for hiking and walking and to top it all off, there were fresh hen's eggs for breakfast. We would definitely love to come back and can highly recommend the pitch.

We stood for 2 nights at the paddock and were very excited about the place and the nice people. Power connection was even available as CEE. We used the rental bathroom, was also mega, everything new and super maintained. For dog owners highly recommended, because you can walk directly in the forest. We will definitely come again...
Super nice pitch. The sand pile has our 5 children super busy after the long drive and we could set up relaxed. As a welcome we were surprised with fresh tomatoes and homemade jam. We have immediately extended a night. Highly recommended :-)
Unfortunately we had to cancel our stay at short notice, but all contact beforehand was very friendly and helpful. We will gladly come back to Andreas for a future trip.
A super place! Nice and quiet with a view of the grazing horses, forest & meadows. At dusk bats & field hares to see and eagle owls to hear. What more could you want. Many thanks to Andreas, a very symphatic host!

We spontaneously stayed for one night at the paddock of Andreas. It is a beautifully situated pitch. Andreas offers 2 places. A slightly larger meadow directly on the forest (separated by the access road) and a small place directly on the horse paddock (even more remotely located) with fixed fireplace, electricity and water. We could have booked a bathroom. Andreas has described the arrival in the best way, we were warmly welcomed by his wife. With Andreas we also had a nice exchange under a shady tree. The only downer was the early morning rooster, which lived up to its reputation. Andreas` wife gave us a jar of homemade strawberry jam as a welcome gift and because of the morning country life noise. Alternatively, we could have had breakfast eggs. The strawberry jam was/is delicious. We can definitely recommend the place.
We had a very nice and relaxed weekend with family and kids. Andreas has a really great place here, which we can only recommend to you. Who loves the peace and quiet in the midst of nature with animals is exactly right here. Andreas even welcomed us with a selfmade jam and a "liqueur". Our conclusion: We are thrilled and will certainly come again. Andreas, please keep up the good work.
It was very nice at the horse farm of Andreas. We had a lot of space to stand, a beautiful view over the paddocks and fields and we were allowed to pick plenty of strawberries. On arrival we even got a few fresh eggs as a gift! The bathroom was very clean and well furnished - we will be happy to come back.
Andreas is a super nice host, which gave me excursion tips for the surrounding area and tips for the camper. The place is very quiet (the aforementioned rooster was far away :-)) and very well maintained. Directly next door are trusting horses. The bathroom is new and was very clean. Towel and soap were also there. Short and sweet: it does not get better, thank you very much.
Super super nice pitch , we came with the caravan for one night. Despite late arrival Andreas has shown us everything , super friendly! :) The site is located in the middle of nature , the approach is via a road easily. The bathroom is the hammer! Super equipped and maintained.

Very idyllic spot at the paddock with nice hosts! For families with older children super nice (with toddler you have to look because of the electric fence around the paddock of course something - with us the fence was off, which relaxed the situation very much with a 1.5 year old child). The promised eggs there were also :-) but the roosters were not particularly disturbing... The bathroom is very nice and so you have more comfort than on a "normal" campsite - with heating and private bathroom (about 50-70m from the site) ! We liked it very much! Thanks for the nice weekend :-)

Very nice pitch in a great environment near the animals. Host Andreas has welcomed us nicely and there was also the announced eggs. Electricity and water connection are directly at the site. A very nice and clean bathroom with toilet is available. Can only recommend.
