Pitch "Weitblick" in the land of a thousand ponds

Welcome to our campsite in the small village of Bucha in the Saale-Orla district.

The pitches are located on our agricultural land, adjacent to the edge of the field and partly on a slight slope.

In summer there are cows and ducks to admire on the neighboring pastures and you can buy fresh quail eggs daily at the pitch.

You can reach our small vantage point "Weitblick" 60 m away via a small beaten path, from where you can see for many kilometers on a clear day, perhaps with a glass of wine, and maybe even spot a wild animal or two.

In our small feel-good corner you will find a cooking and preparation table. And if it should rain, you will also have the opportunity for fun, games and entertainment.

Our previous guests particularly appreciated the romantic sunsets at the campsite.

Our site is located right in the middle between the Bleiloch and Hohenwarte reservoirs, which are both 16 km away.

We are also right at the starting point of the Plothener Teichgebiet nature reserve, also known as the "Land of a Thousand Ponds", which is ideal for exploring on foot or by bike.

Here are 2 special excursion tips:

-Hike from our old GDR station Posenmühle on the tracks to Ziegenrück (5km) or even further to the famous Ziemtalbrücke (another 5km). (View over Ziegenrück, through 2 tunnels, cross the Saale bridge)

- Cycle tour to the nearby nature reserve "Land of the dewy ponds"

Camping is only possible on request.
