Pitch "Weitblick" in the land of a thousand ponds

Welcome to our small, quiet campground in the town of Bucha in the Saale-Orla district. The campsites are located on the outskirts of town on our farmland, with grassy ground and bordering the edge of a field. Some sites are on a very slight slope.

At the campsite, you can purchase drinks, fresh quail eggs, and honey from the beekeeper next door every day. A short 50-meter walk along a small footpath takes you to our little “Weitblick” lookout point, from which—on a clear day and perhaps with a glass of wine in hand—you can see for miles and might even spot a wild animal or two.

In our cozy little corner, you’ll find a cooking and prep table, among other amenities. And should it happen to rain, you’ll also have the opportunity for games, fun, and entertainment there. Our previous guests have particularly appreciated the romantic sunsets at the campsite.

The campsite offers hot showers, electricity, and water for your RV for an additional fee. These services can be booked and paid for on-site as needed. Restrooms, trash disposal, and a fire pit with wood are available free of charge. A bakery, butcher shop, and gas station are located 2 km away.

Our site is the ideal starting point for beautiful hikes and bike rides, e.g., to the Land of a Thousand Ponds or a trail hike to the charming small town of Ziegenrück on the Saale River. We look forward to your visit! Your hosts, Rene and Beate
