Welcome to our small, quiet campsite in the town of Bucha in the Saale-Orla district.
The campsites are located on the outskirts of town on our farmland, with grassy ground and bordering the edge of a field. Some of them are on a very slight slope.
At the campsite, you can purchase drinks, fresh quail eggs, and honey from the beekeeper next door every day.
A short 50-meter walk along a small footpath takes you to our little “Weitblick” lookout point, from which—on a clear day and perhaps with a glass of wine in hand—you can see for many kilometers and might even spot a wild animal or two.
In our cozy little corner, you’ll find a cooking and prep table, among other amenities. And if it does happen to rain, you’ll have a place there for games, fun, and entertainment.
Our previous guests have particularly appreciated the romantic sunsets at the campsite.
The campsite offers hot showers, electricity, and water for your RV for an additional fee. These services can be booked and paid for on-site as needed.
Restrooms, trash disposal, a fire pit with wood, and much more are available free of charge.
A bakery, butcher shop, and gas station are located 2 km away.
Our site is the ideal starting point for beautiful hikes and bike rides, e.g., to the Land of a Thousand Ponds or a trail hike to the charming small town of Ziegenrück on the Saale River.

We had a really wonderful time! René was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The conversations with him were especially great—very relaxed and warm. The place itself is truly special: lovingly designed and full of little touches, like the big table with “Mensch ärgere dich nicht,” which instantly sets a great mood. We also loved the surroundings—there are plenty of beautiful places to visit nearby, so it never gets boring. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We felt very comfortable and would definitely love to come back!
It was the first place for one night in our camping career via the Hinterlandapp and I have to say...Mega! The operator informed us beforehand where and how we had to orient ourselves to get to the site from the village, otherwise the site is on a field - well-kept meadow, a covered seating area with darts, a fireplace with free wood and kindling (of course used right in the evening) Toilet very well maintained, despite the fact that it is a dry toilet and a shower facility where the water comes from the watering can ... all in stacked wood ... how original!!! You are also super guided by information signs! If you have any problems you can call and the operator comes and helps, very friendly. Place is close to a small road ... but it is still quiet here! We liked it, we will definitely come back
Our host provided us with a perfect location that left nothing to be desired. We enjoyed a breathtaking sunset on one side and a rainbow on the other. We will definitely be back. René and Yvonne
Beautiful place with everything you need. Lots of attention to detail. Refreshing rain shower, clean dry toilet, nice host. Good accessibility in case of queries. We can definitely recommend this quiet place.
