Welcome to the Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park.

Despite the very good infrastructural connection (Koblenz approx. 28min / Cologne HB approx. 50min) say themselves here proverbially fox and hare good night. Away from traffic, gently nestled between three ridges, the small village of Rüscheid lies on a hill between the valleys of the Urbach.

Landlust, family vacation, short break or meeting with friends - we are looking forward to your visit to our small orchard.

Here at the foot of the Westerwald there are countless opportunities for hiking, biking, mountain biking, horseback riding, but also for other activities such as shopping, city trips or museum visits. But how about simply letting your soul dangle in the green or recharging your batteries with a cozy glass of red wine and a good book sitting around the campfire.

Highlights in the surrounding area are excellent hiking and biking routes in an impressive landscape, past castle ruins and historic buildings, volcano and Gysir, castles and palaces on the Rhine and Moselle or wellness. Also for the little ones there is a lot to explore like the children's playground, sports field, nature trail in the village, the zoo in Neuwied and much more. Water sports enthusiasts also get their money's worth at the Westerwald lake district. When it snows, it is possible to go cross-country skiing and tobogganing in the area, to the Sauerland winter sports arena of ski resorts in Neuastenberg and around Winterberg it is a 2h drive.
