We live on the Hamburg Elbe island of Wilhelmsburg, close to the Elbe cycle path.
We have a large, barely visible garden and a lovely dog who will leave you in peace after a stormy welcome.
There is a separate bathroom with shower and toilet (in our not yet fully finished sauna) in the garden, near your tent. You may also use our small pool. Sauna by arrangement and for a fee.
Electricity and W-Lan are available free of charge (for more than two persons an additional energy fee of 5 € per person and night has to be paid on site). You may use the garden furniture and barbecue. We have set up an outdoor camper kitchen with fridge, hotplates and kettle for you. Drinks and various snacks are available for a trust fund.
You can be in Hamburg city center in 20 minutes by bus and train. By bike in about 25 minutes.
PS: we have an old house and are constantly building, so you may or will come across building materials on the way to your campsite. Likewise, due to a lack of time and our own interest in camping, we don't have an English lawn and perfectly manicured beds at all times. But you can always expect it to look like our photos.
In addition, we often drive to our campsite ourselves. So I don't always manage to keep the calendar up to date.

We were with a larger group of cyclists at Sandra's and camped in her garden for 2 days. Although the accommodation offer was actually only for 2 people, she still agreed to it. Thanks again for that! The The communication with her was excellent and we had everything we needed on the campsite and were even very pleasantly surprised at what was on offer. Everyone on our tour was extremely satisfied and felt very comfortable. Everything was even better than in the description on Hinterland. The participants all found it nicer than a campsite. Above all, it was more familiar. What's more, Sandra and her husband are very friendly, open, very tolerant and communicative hosts. It simply doesn't get any better than that. We can highly recommend this accommodation and would like to come back again.
Our 2-day camping stay in the garden was simply fantastic! Communication was straightforward and the hosts were incredibly friendly and friendly and accommodating - they really thought of everything. The surroundings were quiet, well-kept and perfect for relaxing. We can absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back!
A dream... from the communication/ planning/ check in and out... everything super uncomplicated and mega accommodating. Sandra and Tell are really great garden hosts. We really felt at home with our two small children despite the less than ideal weather. A little corner of the world with attention to detail and everything you could wish for if you're just passing through or, like us, staying a little longer and don't feel like shopping straight away. Hamburg is super quick to reach by public transport or car. Thank you both very much, we will definitely be back (:
Thanks Sandra for hosting. We stayed here for 3 days and really enjoyed it. The garden is very large, there is a place for relaxation and cooking (electric stove). There is also a separate toilet with shower. There are 5 metro stations to the center. Excellent location and hospitable hosts)
The campground was very nice, comfortably designed, well connected and yet quiet. There was everything you can use for a nice camping vacation (even kitchen, dishes, refrigerator, etc.). We felt very comfortable. The two hosts Sandra and Tell were very nice, warm and accommodating. The communication was impeccable. Can only recommend!
