Close to nature pitch at the foot of the Rennsteig...

Directly near the small, idyllically situated Bachfelder reservoir is our property with space for up to 3 mobile homes. It is on the edge of the village, houses in sight, but still in the middle of nature.

From here you can take long hikes to or even on the Rennsteig (ideal if you have dog/s with you) or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

It is about 800 m to the small train station. From there you can, for example, also with the bike / e-bike, with the South Thuringia train the most beautiful exploration tours through the south of Thuringia (toy museum Sonneberg, sea aquarium Zella-Mehlis, Bleßberg tower, theater Meiningen, zoo Suhl ...) or towards Upper Franconia (Veste Coburg, Rosenau Castle with glass museum ...) are undertaken. Many, many more sights for young and old are not far from here and worth a day trip (tourist info about 2 km away in Schalkau).

When you are back, you are welcome to sit together directly on our property and of course you can have a barbecue. If you are interested, we can deliver fresh chicken eggs from our own free range. The next shopping facilities are about 2 km away (Norma, Netto, REWE, Edeka or ALDI).
