Family meadow: ponies, playground, and tranquility

Our small, natural campsite is idyllically located on the outskirts of Oberwasungen, a quiet district of Sonnefeld, not far from the Thuringian border. On a spacious, flat meadow, we offer campers a place to arrive, take a deep breath, and unwind. Here you can camp far away from the noise of traffic, surrounded by nature, wide views, and rural serenity. Instead of traffic, you will hear birds singing, and instead of hustle and bustle, you will experience real country life. What you can expect from us: Spacious parking space on a well-kept meadow Very quiet location right on the outskirts of town Animals on the property: chickens, a horse, and a pony (children are welcome to pet the animals)

The surroundings: The region is ideal for long walks, cycling, and hiking tours. In a short time, you can reach the Franconian Forest, the Thuringian Slate Mountains, and numerous small villages with typical Franconian charm. The historic royal seat of Coburg with its castle, old town, and diverse gastronomy is also easily accessible and a worthwhile destination for an excursion.
