Advantages of fenced camps for camping with dogs
Fenced-in areas are rare when camping with dogs, but they are worth their weight in gold for dogs and dog owners! It offers relaxation and freedom for all parties: The dogs naturally enjoy being able to run around in front of the van all day without having to be on a lead. They can run around, play and enjoy the fresh air from morning to night. But this not only offers more freedom for the dogs, but also for the owners. If the dogs are busy and happy and can occupy themselves playing in the grass, owners have more time for other things. In addition, no strangers or dogs can enter the area, so owners can simply relax and let their eyes wander, lean back in their camping chair and enjoy the peace and quiet and nature. Fenced areas are also a great relief for camping neighbors. People who are afraid of dogs can clearly see through the fence that the dogs cannot come near them.

Find parking spaces near you
When searching, you can not only filter for fenced-in pitches that are suitable for dogs, but also for specific locations or regions where you would like to camp. Simply enter the name of the location in the search bar under "Where to" and filter according to your exact requirements. Under the search bar, you can also select "In my area" and view suitable pitches in your vicinity. Of course, it is also possible to combine the filters. So you can also search for fenced-in pitches where dogs are welcome in your area.
Your fence-to-go: small pack size, large free space
The best alternative to campsites that already provide a fenced-in area is to simply bring your own fence. Turn off the engine, take out the fence and your relaxed camping vacation can begin. With a mesh fence like this one from Hundeshop.de, you can enjoy all the benefits of camping with your dog on fenced-in pitches, but you are not tied to the availability of these campsites. Our recommendation is therefore to always have a fence with you to enjoy more flexibility when looking for a camp and not be dependent on existing fences.
