Our beautiful "Forest Meadow" is located about 1 km from our farm, in a secluded spot between two villages. Here, our guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature at two campsites. The access road is narrow but paved. The meadow itself is a regularly mowed but otherwise very natural area between a small forest and a stream.
Currently, guests occasionally share the meadow with a small flock of sheep and their little lambs.
In the evening, you can hear the fox and the deer, and the badger watches over you from its den. The meadow also has a few places to sit, two shelters, and a fire pit that can be used by arrangement.
In summer, heavy rain can cause large, heavy vehicles to get stuck. In winter, it’s generally difficult to drive on the meadow and requires frozen ground, good driving skills, or a four-wheel-drive vehicle. However, there’s also a place to park in front of the meadow if you just want to camp.
It is a fairly flat meadow, but watch out for molehills. There is plenty of space, so everyone should be able to find a good spot to park or camp.

Dogs must be kept on a leash if they have a tendency to chase, as there is a lot of wildlife in our area, and there are several burrows in the woods where small hunting dogs could get lost.

By arrangement, water canisters can be refilled at our farm (about 1 km away) in exchange for a donation.
Campfire allowed
Campfires are permitted only with prior approval. We must take the weather and the risk of forest fires into account.

There is a very large, somewhat outdated grill available. However, we recommend bringing your own grill.
Other (house rules)
- Arrival: by 7:00 p.m. Please call us if you have an idea of when you’ll be arriving. That way, we can explain how to get to the field and unlock the gate for you if necessary. - We hope that later on, we won’t find any toilet paper or other trash lying around. - Please clean up after your dog so that no one accidentally steps in it. - Please take your trash with you when you leave, thanks. ;)

Farm shop
In the neighboring village (about 1 km away), there is a lovely little self-service farm shop. There you can buy fruit, vegetables, eggs, and dairy products.
Activities
Kayaking, canoeing
Lübeck (15 km away) offers wonderful paddling trips along the Trave, the Wakenitz, and its canals. The lake district in Holstein Switzerland is also nearby and perfect for paddling trips. In Eutin, there is a canoe rental service, among other amenities.
Golf
There's an organic golf course in the neighboring village.
Climbing
There is an indoor climbing gym in Lübeck
Hiking
The area is perfect for lovely walks through the fields, in the woods, or in the Curauer Moor. If you don't mind walking on roads, there are also some great hiking trails here.
Swimming
The Baltic Sea is 17 km away, and the nearest swimming lake is 13 km away. Lübeck, which offers several swimming spots, is 15 km away.
Watching wildlife
If you sit outside your tent or camper in the evening, you can hear many animals, such as badgers. During the day, you can see many different birds of prey, and with a bit of luck, you might spot the eagles from their nearby nest. Despite the guests on the meadow, deer, rabbits, and foxes sometimes make an appearance as well.
Beach vacation
The Baltic Sea and miles of beaches along Lübeck Bay are 17 km away.
Other activities
The biggest attraction is simply enjoying the peace and quiet, nature, and the feeling of being on vacation

What a wonderful little spot! It’s the perfect place to unwind and focus on what really matters. At night, you can hear the badgers sniffing around and the foxes calling—it’s simply delightful. Our dogs got to cool off in the stream and had just as much fun as we did. We feel completely recharged and will definitely be back 😍
