Our beautiful "forest meadow" is located about 1 km from our farm, in a secluded location between two villages. Here, our guests can enjoy peace and nature on two parking spaces/camping sites. The access road is narrow but paved. The meadow itself is a regularly mowed but otherwise very natural area between a small forest and a stream.
At present, guests occasionally share the meadow with a small herd of sheep and their little lambs. In the evening, you can hear the fox and the deer and are watched over by the badger from its burrow. The meadow also has a few seats, two shelters, and a fire pit, which can be used by arrangement.
In summer, heavy rain can cause large, heavy vehicles to get stuck. In winter, it is generally difficult to drive on the meadow and requires frozen ground, good driving skills, or a four-wheel drive vehicle. However, there is also parking available in front of the meadow if you only want to camp.
It is a fairly flat meadow, but you should watch out for molehills. There is plenty of space, so everyone should be able to find a good spot to park or camp. We look forward to welcoming self-sufficient campers who feel at home in this special place.

Dogs must be leashed if they tend to hunt, as there are many wild animals in our area and in the forest there are some burrows where kl. hunting dogs could disappear.

Water canisters can be filled up on our farm (approx. 1km away) by arrangement for a donation.
Campfire allowed
Campfire is allowed only by arrangement. We must take into account the weather and the risk of forest fires.
Barbecue allowed
A very large grill that is getting on in years is available. However, a grill of your own would be recommended.
Other (house rules)
- Arrival: by 7 p.m. Please call us when you have an idea of what time you will arrive. Then we can explain how to get to the meadow and unlock the gate for you if necessary. - We would appreciate it if you could dispose of toilet paper and other waste properly and not leave it lying around. - Please clean up after your dog so that no one accidentally steps in it. - Please take your trash with you when you leave, thank you. ;)

Farm shop
In the neighboring village (approx. 1km) there is a nice little self-service farm store. You can buy fruit, vegetables, eggs and dairy products there.
Activities
Kayaking, canoeing
Lübeck (15km away) invites with the Trave, the Wakenitz and its canals for beautiful paddling tours. The lake district in Holstein Switzerland is also not far away and beautiful for paddling tours. In Eutin there is, among other things, also a canoe rental.
Golf
In the neighboring village we have an organic golf course.
Other activities
The biggest attraction is to simply enjoy the tranquility, nature and "being on vacation"

Hiking
The area is suitable for beautiful walks between the fields, in the forest or in the Curauer Moor. If you don't have a problem with roads you can also hike here very nicely.
Watching wildlife
When you sit in the evening in front of the tent or camper you can hear many animals, such as the badger. During the day you can see many different birds of prey, with luck you can see the eagles from the nearby eyrie. Deer, rabbits and foxes can sometimes be seen, despite the guests on the meadow.
