  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We spent a wonderful week at the farm campsite on the North Sea and would come back anytime. The campsite is spacious, so you have plenty of room to yourself. The meadow was well-maintained, and it was wonderfully quiet at night—you really couldn’t hear a thing except for the wind. That’s exactly what relaxation is all about. You can get water right at the farm, and electricity is also available. The hosts were always reachable by phone and very friendly. The absolute highlight for us was the farm itself. We were allowed to help feed the calves and experience calf rearing up close. We were particularly impressed by how well-cared-for and clean the animals are. You can tell that the family runs the farm with heart and passion. Of course, it’s a working farm that has to operate profitably, but you can tell that they still place a great deal of importance on the animals’ well-being. The cows seem healthy, energetic, and content; they graze in the pasture and even go to the milking robot on their own. That really left a positive impression on us. The location is also great. It takes about five minutes to reach the dike. It’s a wonderful place to go for a walk and enjoy the peace and quiet, since this section is much less touristy. If you want to go on a real mudflat hike, you should head to Tossens—there you can walk far out into the mudflats and even spot lugworms. A ferry ride across the Jadebusen to Wilhelmshaven is also highly recommended. The campsite is also ideal for families with children. Kids can explore the farm and see firsthand where our food actually comes from. A quick note for visitors: Unfortunately, we personally didn’t have a good experience at the Fischhaus right on the dike in Tossens. I ended up with food poisoning afterward, while no one else in our group was affected, since I was the only one who had eaten there. However, this has nothing to do with the farm campsite. Many thanks to the hosts for the wonderful week. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back!

  We extended our stay because it's just so beautiful here! There's so much space and peace and quiet—no one's getting on anyone else's nerves! You're right in the middle of a huge meadow or field. We'll definitely be back.

  Everything was great—right next to the sauna. The kids were allowed to explore the farm and pet the animals after checking with us, and they could borrow pedal cars. We got to Tossens and the beach quickly on e-bikes. We’d love to come back—thank you so much!

  We parked right next to the barrel sauna on a paved area at Stephan’s place. That way, we were able to set up our portable toilet in the outdoor shower. The spot is absolutely quiet; you can only hear the cows, but that didn’t bother us in the least. We can definitely recommend this campsite. It’s just a shame we didn’t get any milk. Maybe next time.
