3 days, 3 lakes: mini road trip for hot summer days

from hinterland.camp

Look forward to three extraordinary camps on the lake, where you can jump into the cold water and experience action on the water with kayaks, SUPs or rowing boats.

Camper fährt umgeben von Wasser auf einem kleinen Weg entlang der Seen des Müritz-Seen-Parks. Er befindet sich auf der Route des Roadtrips.

Three stops at three different lakes

Waking up to the sound of birdsong, the sun reflected in the clear water of the lake right outside the camper door and the sun's rays slowly making their way into your face - that's camping by the lake. We have picked out three of our most beautiful campsites on different lakes for you, which are perfect for a short summer road trip over the hot days.

  1. The road trip starts at the fishing lake in the Müritz National Park with host Antje on a camp all to yourselves and surrounded by water and nature.
  2. At the second stop, you can look forward to a quiet camp right by the water of the crystal-clear Heege Lake in Wustrow, where you can borrow canoes, SUPs, bikes and e-bikes from host Christian.
  3. And at the last camp, a small idyllic clearing in the forest awaits you at host Thomas's place, from where you can already see the water of the lake through the trees.

The camp is very popular with previous camper guests.

Martina awards 5 stars for her time at the canoe farm and writes:

"The camp is very nice, there are enough trees for shade and there is plenty of space . The sanitary facilities are very clean, soap, toilet paper and paper towels are available.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful, the canoe rental is uncomplicated. You can order bread rolls in the morning.

A very nice spot, we would love to come back."

The Hinterland campers think the site is very nice.

Ivo awards 5 stars and writes about his overnight stay:

"Thomas' campsite is a natural oasis in the middle of the forest and right by the lake!!! A paradise for people and dogs :)

The site is virtually untouched nature, yet totally tidy and well-kept.

There is a porta-potty, electricity and a disposal point for waste from the camper van.

On arrival, all 4 camps were occupied and we still had our peace and privacy.

A staircase takes you directly to the lake, keep right for 5 minutes and you have a beautiful bathing area including a bench where you can enjoy the fantastic sunset.

We only had problems finding the place with the navigation system. It is best to enter the neighboring campsite in the navigation system and then turn off one street before at the red-white-green markings. The markings lead directly to Thomas' campsite.

We will definitely be back!"
