You’re welcome to stay overnight in my orchard under the tall apple trees.
You’re welcome to use the seating area and the fire pit with a grill. Water and electricity are available. My garden is located right next to the Main River and is connected to the Main River Bike Path.
When the cherries, currants, plums, or apples are ripe, you’re welcome to help me harvest them and enjoy the fruit.
There’s a good butcher shop in town. The nearest supermarket is about 2.5 km away.
Despite the proximity to the A3
(Wertheim/Lengfurt exit or Marktheidenfeld exit), you’ll find yourself in the middle of the countryside here, more precisely between “Himmelreich” and “Paradeis” (these are the names of the adjacent forest districts)
Please note:
The access road to the property is narrow. (4 m wide, with a fence on the opposite side.) Experience has shown that vehicles up to 7 m in length can enter without any problems.
Trailers can only access the site with a mover!!!!

By a river/stream
The Main River flows right nearby and can be reached in 2 minutes on foot via a passageway. There is a launch site for canoes or SUBs. A small swimming cove with a “sandy beach” is about a 15-minute walk away.

In a meadow
You're standing in a steppe orchard among the fruit trees, with a view of the vineyards and the forest on the opposite bank of the Main

With a shady place
Shadows cast by the trees, depending on the position of the sun

By the lake
The swimming lake (Klostersee) is nearby, at the other end of the village

Between trees
With me, you stand among the trees in an orchard meadow overlooking the vineyards and the forest on the other side of the Main

Watching wildlife
In the summer, bats fly through the garden in the evening, and deer may appear in the garden at night or in the morning.
There is a beaver lodge on Klostersee.
With a little luck, you can spot the beavers there.
Other activities
In the neighboring town of Homburg, on the opposite bank of the Main River, is the Papiermühle Museum.
In the fall, you can help with the grape harvest at various wineries.
Swimming
You can go swimming either in the Klostersee, a swimming lake located at the entrance to the village, or at the forest swimming pool in the neighboring town,

Thanks for the relaxing night. The spot is beautifully situated among the fruit trees, and you can hear the Main River flowing. The hostess was incredibly kind—thanks again for helping us back up the trailer and for lending us the cable reel. Be careful—the driveway is really narrow. We barely managed to get the trailer past the neighbor’s fence.
We, a young family, unfortunately only stayed one night. (Stopover) We and our children were warmly welcomed and given a brief orientation. The way they interact with guests is truly exemplary. If the weather had stayed dry, we would have loved to stay longer. The town and the surrounding area are very interesting when the weather is nice and are definitely worth exploring. Very child-friendly and highly recommended—thank you for your time.
Very friendly hostess. Nice, quiet campsite. Perfect.
A beautiful spot under the apple trees We felt very at home at Stefanie’s, in her beautiful and lovingly tended garden. The swimming lake and the Main River are right outside the door and are perfect for a refreshing dip. The location is perfect for biking and hiking. Thank you so much, dear Stefanie, and see you soon. Susanne & Dietmar
Stefanie’s garden cottage was, without exaggeration, a little piece of paradise. Stefanie’s warm hospitality far exceeded our expectations. The massive apple tree provided just the right amount of shade, and the inviting fruit orchard exudes a cozy atmosphere. All the highlights—like Klostersee, Mainstrand, and Klingelsbachgraben (which is practically a gorge)—are just a few minutes away by bike. If you only stay for a day, you’ve only got yourself to blame.
