We, a young family, unfortunately only stayed one night. (Stopover) We and our children were warmly welcomed and given a brief orientation. The way they interact with guests is truly exemplary. If the weather had stayed dry, we would have loved to stay longer. The town and the surrounding area are very interesting when the weather is nice and are definitely worth exploring. Very child-friendly and highly recommended—thank you for your time.
Very friendly hostess. Nice, quiet campsite. Perfect.
A beautiful spot under the apple trees We felt very at home at Stefanie’s, in her beautiful and lovingly tended garden. The swimming lake and the Main River are right outside the door and are perfect for a refreshing dip. The location is perfect for biking and hiking. Thank you so much, dear Stefanie, and see you soon. Susanne & Dietmar
Stefanie’s garden cottage was, without exaggeration, a little piece of paradise. Stefanie’s warm hospitality far exceeded our expectations. The massive apple tree provided just the right amount of shade, and the inviting fruit orchard exudes a cozy atmosphere. All the highlights—like Klostersee, Mainstrand, and Klingelsbachgraben (which is practically a gorge)—are just a few minutes away by bike. If you only stay for a day, you’ve only got yourself to blame.
A fantastic campsite with warm hospitality! We spent some wonderful days at the “Gartenklause zwischen Himmelreich und Paradeis” campsite. As soon as we arrived, Stefanie gave us an incredibly warm welcome. She took plenty of time to give us great tips and information about things to do in the area. The site itself is absolutely quiet, idyllically located, and scores big points for its great proximity to the Main River—perfect for excursions and relaxing days by the water. Everywhere you look, you notice the many thoughtful details that make this little “paradise” something truly special. One lovely moment was the cozy and friendly chat in the evening over a cool glass of beer—you simply feel completely at ease and welcome from the very first minute. Dear Stefanie, thank you so much for the wonderful time—we’ll definitely see you again!
We had a wonderful stay with Stefanie. We were just passing through and were able to stop by on the spur of the moment and relax. She also gave us some great tips on events and places to visit. A great campsite and starting point for activities and bike rides!
One of the most beautiful spots we've visited. At least for us—we love individual campsites and enjoy sitting in the shade of the trees. It's like having our own orchard, only with a campervan :-)
Very friendly host, great, quiet property 🙂 Great tips—I'd love to stay there again 🙂
A stay under Stefanie’s fruit trees is definitely recommended!!! We were warmly welcomed, had some really nice conversations, and had a great time. We had everything we needed 😊 The view of the mountain landscape and the nearby Main River really top it all off! There’s a bike path right next to the campsite and a beautiful swimming lake nearby. We would have loved to stay longer. Warm regards, Carmen & Thomas 🤗
A very friendly and warm host; we felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay with her. It's a quiet, secluded spot, and the Main River is just a 150-meter walk away.
When you meet an exceptionally friendly and charming hostess, and get to spend the night in a beautiful garden with old fruit trees and a chestnut tree, you’ve arrived at Stefanie’s garden retreat—somewhere between heaven and paradise. We spent a wonderful weekend in her garden, near the banks of the Main River, and we’ll definitely be back. You can go on bike rides or hikes, visit the local swimming lake, and stock up on supplies at the local bakery or butcher shop. The white sausages are especially worth mentioning—you simply have to try them. But the highlight is the garden, where you can sit under an apple tree in a dreamlike setting and enjoy the surroundings in peace. Thank you, Stefanie, for having us; we had a lot of fun and enjoyed every minute with you.
Stefanie gave us a warm welcome; we felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. It’s just a 2-minute walk to the Main River, and the beautiful swimming lake is only about a 20-minute walk away, along a romantic promenade along the Main.
Communicating with the host was very pleasant and friendly. The campsite was beautiful, just as described. Everything went great. We definitely recommend this spot and would love to book it again. Thank you very much and best regards, Armin Huth
