Friendly, quiet, and clean guests, though also quite demanding and somewhat dishonest: when asked if everything was okay, they didn’t complain about anything, but after they left, we received a bad review. As a host, you should therefore be prepared to reschedule daily operations such as trash collection, train schedules, and daycare to the fullest satisfaction of these guests. To meet their aesthetic expectations, it’s best to also have a landscape gardener come out to the property. Furthermore, while the dogs—advertised as “medium-sized”—stayed on a leash as promised, they were actually quite impressively large and had very spirited (and in one case, distinctly territorial) personalities. With open and clear communication from the outset, disappointment on both sides could have been avoided.

Wonderful guests—we’d love to have them back anytime! Simone and her furry friends were such delightful guests at our Gütle. It was a joy to see how carefree the dogs were as they ran and played wildly on the fenced-in property. That’s exactly what the place is for! Everything went absolutely smoothly and harmoniously.
