Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet our hosts in person. Still, check-in and check-out were hassle-free. The site is very spacious, and you feel like you're surrounded by nature. The bathroom is functional and simple. We could hear the train from our tent at night. During the day, it's hardly noticeable.
A very idyllic spot surrounded by ancient trees. The hosts are very friendly and attentive. Just a short walk away, you’ll find beautiful natural scenery with a small lake. And the bus stop is practically right outside the door. From here, you’ll have no trouble getting into town. I was only at this lovely spot for one day and unfortunately didn’t get a chance to take the bus. I’d like to recommend this spot to future travelers. I felt very comfortable here and would like to say THANK YOU
We agree with Norbert’s review from May 2025: the small wooded area, pasture, and landscape park piqued our interest and led us to expect something different from what we actually found—a lawn bordered by maple saplings. It’s certainly very quiet during the holidays or on weekends. On weekdays, with buses, trains, glass recycling collection, and schoolchildren, it’s less idyllic.

We spent a night in Phillip and Alix's large garden - a little escape from home 😉 Super nice hosts, we didn't miss anything and we'll definitely be back!

Quiet pitch, beautifully situated. The bathroom in the barn was new and spotlessly clean, communication was uncomplicated. Driving through the entrance gate with our 2.30m wide caravan was a bit tricky. Thanks to the mover it worked. We would love to come back again
Super nice place with very nice hosts. We couldn't get through the stone gate with our 2.5m wide Fendt, but Philipp helped us immediately. Shower, WC, everything fits 👍🏼

Really lovely spot, great communication. We stopped for one night from Czech to NL. Shower and toilet was very clean, and garden was very peaceful. Would recommend.
Place was as described and communication worked well. Very quiet and idyllic location. The train has already been sufficiently mentioned and was not a problem for us. We were there with T5 and caravan, the entrance through the courtyard gate was cramped but possible. Sanitary simple but sufficient and clean. If we need a parking space in the area again we will come back. 😊
We stayed here one night on our way back from the Baltic Sea. We were well received. Our pitch was a beautiful spot in the meadow. The shower and toilet were very clean. What more could you want.

Small, cozy place right in the village center. The descriptions of other campers were accurate, but you can lock the bathroom ;-). Very nice, relaxed host.
A fantastic place under sheltering trees, a very nice, uncomplicated welcome and a practically furnished bathroom with shower made my stay on my bikepacking tour perfect. A clear recommendation
We were offered a wonderful place in a flat location and idyllic surroundings in a quiet little village. There were four of us plus a dog in a car with a 6-person tent. The small, well-kept shower room in the barn came in handy after a hiking tour in the nearby Harz Mountains. The communication and welcome were also warm and courteous. Beautiful, rustic place on the edge of a small village. However, we only stopped here when we were passing through and were therefore unfortunately unable to explore the area sufficiently. But maybe next time. 👍

Comfortable pitch. You can hear the trains, but that didn't bother us. We felt very comfortable and went on a wonderful bike ride in the evening. Although you are in the middle of the village, it feels like you are in the middle of nature!
Large meadow behind a charming half-timbered house. Very nice contact and everything you need for an overnight stay. Even though our visit was very short and only for one night, we really enjoyed it.

Nice, quiet place. Campers should be careful that there is no space for washing dishes, but for campers this is not a problem. Communication was easy.
Lovely hosts, idyllic place, in the middle of the village and at the same time in the middle of nature. Everything was more than perfect for us. We would love to stay there again. Thank you for your hospitality.

As with the last stay, everything was fine. WC/shower clean and fully usable, but still a little "rustic" or under construction.
Very nice place, lots of space, lots of privacy, quiet, bathroom and shower clean, very friendly host, with whom I enjoyed chatting a bit, but who also knew how to respect our privacy. 100% recommendation.

Beautiful pitches with sufficient storage space. As already mentioned by others, a lockable bathroom would be desirable. Otherwise everything was great.

Nice reception, nice pitch in the green - everything is there. We were even provided with a cable drum. The railroad mentioned in other reviews is audible, but has not bothered us personally. Many thanks to Philipp and his wife! Everything very uncomplicated; we felt comfortable.

Pleasant and peaceful campsite only a short hop from Hanover. Booking and payment was efficient, and we were met on arrival by the owner. Perfect for a stopover or as a base for exploring the Hanover area...
Super nice hosts. Own bathroom with shower. For an overnight stay in transit just right for us. We will be happy to come back.

We had a very great stay here! Phillipp was on vacation himself, but the neighbor has taken good care of us and showed us everything on the great place! We like to come back
The location is fantastic, the host himself was on vacation, but I was very kindly welcomed and introduced by the neighbor! New bathroom with shower and toilet for use (very pleasant 🙂). Underground meadow, but even in the rain no problem. Driveway somewhat narrow, for large Womo's rather unsuitable, rather for van / camper -Van . The place is on my mark list!!!

Was uncomplicated and all good. The host was not there, but we were received super friendly by the neighbor who showed us everything. A very nice place. The campers are on the lawn behind the half-timbered house. Shower and toilet simple, but very clean. You can hear the train, but we still slept very well.
Beautiful lawn between trees. Sanitary...toilet and shower very clean ! Small drawback is the railroad connection in 150 meters distance, when freight trains pass through it is noisy.
Phillipp was very nice and uncomplicated and we had a very nice pitch. A later departure was also no problem. Who sleeps lightly, may hear the train at night. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Super place to stop for the night when passing through. Large lawn behind the house where you can make yourself comfortable. Bathroom / toilet kept simple, but fully functional. In the village you can stretch your feet after a long drive. The host is very friendly and easy to reach via the app if questions arise.

We were with car, roof tent and trailer for one night on the very spacious meadow, had plenty of room to spread out. Very friendly hosts. Electricity, shower and toilet all available what you want more. Only minus the train, where we heard quite a few trains. Come back with pleasure.
Camper heart, what more could you want! It was a fantastic stay on a beautiful large meadow and the bathroom is great! The exchange with Philipp was a pleasure and has moved us to tackle one or the other upgrade on the Bulli. The S-Bahn connection to Hannover is perfect. 1000 thanks and all the best for you, dear Philipp.

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for the nice welcome at your wonderful property. The shady pitch made the stay really pleasant and I could not find any reason to complain. The availability of electricity, shower and toilet made my stay even more comfortable. It's good to know that you also want to further improve the access to the bathroom. The place is super nice and the hosts very nice. Everything worked out uncomplicated and we felt very comfortable.
We were passing through with a van, roof tent and trailer for one night. Super friendly host who makes everything possible. For us and our kids was the toilet facility, large flat meadow, and idyll in the green perfect. We come again with pleasure.
The meadow and all around were super nice, clean and relaxed. Everything was very uncomplicated. Five extra stars for the cafe with the lovely operator on the premises! :)
We spent two nights on the beautiful lawn behind the old half-timbered house. The landlord was not there, but we were warmly welcomed by the owner of the small cafe on the property. Coffee and cake in a glass were very tasty! The small shower room is not quite finished, but usable and will certainly be very nice. A better alternative to the shower curtain would be good (the whole floor gets wet and by the environment of course dirty) or at least mop and squeegee to provide some dryness afterwards. The location is very nice, the lakes invite you to walk. Even swimming, paddling and surfing is possible. We had a nice weekend and will be happy to come back.

Great hosts, beautiful area, old half-timbered building which is lovingly restored. The meadow is quite flat and directly at the house integrated into the garden with adjacent grove. Great also the possibility for coffee and cake. Use of the newly built bathroom. Small downer: the railroad line is 200 m away. Not too loud, but the one or other freight train was well audible. The new bathroom is located in a construction site and the floor is soaking wet after using the shower. Be sure to take bathing shoes.
