A beautiful, quiet, and very well-maintained RV park at the Menkenhof, run by the Friedjof family. The idyllic landscape of the Lüneburg Heath is perfect for wonderful walks and bike rides. The warm and helpful hosts welcomed us right away. We felt completely at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A real hidden gem for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet, nature, and hospitality. 🚐🌿 We’d love to come back!

For me, this great spot was a stopover on my way to Denmark. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet the host in person, but I received all the important information in a nice email beforehand. The restroom was super clean, and the spot was absolutely quiet and idyllic. Thanks for a peaceful night. If I’m ever heading north again, I’ll definitely stop by.
My dog and I spent two wonderful nights here in our rooftop tent, and I felt right at home from the very beginning. We received an incredibly warm and friendly welcome and felt right at home immediately. The place itself is simply beautiful and offers a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. We were able to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing stay on the large, spacious property. The combination of nature, tranquility, and warm hospitality was especially lovely. Even with a dog, the stay was absolutely hassle-free and pleasant. We really enjoyed our time here and would come back anytime. A truly special place that I can definitely recommend!

The campground is huge and pleasantly shady, and the farm itself is just great. The kids got to play with the kittens and visit the horses. We had a really great time!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Menkenhof. The stay was wonderfully relaxing, and the peaceful meadow was perfect for a restful overnight stay in our camper van. Our kids especially loved the horses and kittens. They got to explore everything and were even given a personal tour on the spot—that was a real highlight for them🐴. The restrooms were also very clean and well-maintained. Many thanks to the very kind Lütjens family for their warm hospitality. We felt completely at home and would love to come back! 😊

A very beautiful, quiet location. And thanks to the horse farm, there’s plenty of entertainment for the kids. Electricity, water, and a restroom are available. So it really has everything you could want. We’d definitely come back.

A beautiful estate with very kind people—it’s even been featured in a movie. If you love nature, peace and quiet, and horses, this is the place for you. I really enjoyed spending time with Stiene the mare. I hope she’s feeling better. I was there with my 92-year-old father, who also enjoyed it. We’ll be back!
Unfortunately, we were only able to stay with you for one night. The campsite is really beautiful, and it's a great idea to offer spots for campers there. Unfortunately, the restrooms were very dirty.

A very nice farm with some animals (horses, a pony, geese…). The hosts are friendly, and the restrooms are clean. I would definitely recommend it.
