Pure delight! A 10 out of 10. If you’re looking to get away from it all and enjoy nature and peace and quiet, this is the perfect place for you. We were warmly welcomed by the family, and communicating with them was easy and hassle-free. The accommodations are exactly as described—everything you need is provided, and the surroundings are beautiful. Hiking or simply taking a long walk are definitely possible here. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the family for this wonderful opportunity. I will definitely come back and visit this beautiful spot again.
Unfortunately, we were only there for one night and would have loved to stay longer: it was very quiet and idyllic, with a great view. Everything was just as described, and the host was very friendly. We’d love to come back!
We spent a night at Johannes' place in Frankenberg and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The welcome was warm, and the location, surrounded by nature, was just as beautiful as in the photos. We'll be back!

After realizing that the app (Anreiseplan) had directed me to the wrong place, I quickly entered the address I had on hand into my GPS—and was finally guided to the right spot after all. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted with warmth and friendliness, which instantly created a pleasant atmosphere. The campsite is simply stunning and beautiful. It’s a place where you can not only find peace, but also truly reconnect with yourself. One thing is certain for me: This was definitely not my last visit—I’d love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is fantastic, wonderfully quiet, and the view of the valley is breathtakingly beautiful. The site is level, and Johannes is very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

We felt very comfortable in this beautiful place next to an apple tree with delicious ripe apples. We would love to come back.

We were here for teleworking. Wonderfully quiet, great view over the fields. The internet reception with our routers equipped with sim cards was very good. Otherwise via cell phone 5G. Nice outside toilet. Johannes and his family are very helpful and kind. We also had a sensational starry sky at night. Gladly again.
Really great view! With a host who has clearly thought about what it takes to enjoy the hours on his meadow. And his farm is now really in the "hinterland" and yet not completely away from everything, thanks for everything. 🙏

Everything here is exactly as described. What more does a van driver need.... electricity, water and a toilet with flushing facilities👍 The view is just like the place a dream, we really enjoyed it here, along with Cairnterrier ☺️. Explore the area on foot and by bike and come back......apropos return, we will 👍 Many thanks to Johannes, very nice host and advisor.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is fantastic - quiet with a wonderful view, ideal for relaxing, we immediately felt at home. Our trip to the Edersee was particularly nice - easily accessible from here and absolutely worthwhile. A big thank you to Johannes, who is a very nice and helpful host. We would love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Johannes' farm in our tent. The photos and description are absolutely accurate and Johannes was friendly and helpful. His grounds are well maintained and there is a lovely view of the fields from the campsite. We can recommend this site without reservation.
Nice, but somewhat businesslike contact. Got a nice spot by mutual agreement, where we enjoyed several days with the beautiful view and the birds of prey around the grounds. Basic in sanit.facility, but clean. Hesse was a nice surprise for us ! Perhaps we will come back again ! 👋

A little paradise on the farm My stay on the farm near Frankenberg was simply fantastic. The pitch for my roof tent offered a wonderful view and absolute peace and quiet. The idyllic surroundings were perfect for unwinding and relaxing. The host was incredibly friendly and made my stay an unforgettable experience. Overall, it was a great stay that I can recommend to anyone who wants to get away from it all and enjoy nature.

Here you will find everything you need for that camper feeling: ●A beautiful pitch with a far-reaching view on the meadow in the middle of nature ●A ceramic toilet with washing and rinsing facilities ●An abundance of excursion options for families with children in the surrounding area and perhaps most importantly ●A super nice and uncomplicated host family who took great care of us and were always available. We felt very welcome. Our children were allowed to play in the hosts' garden and there was also lots to discover around the pitch. We will be back!

Simply great! The pitch itself was exactly as described - wonderful view, great surroundings, WC+washing area very clean. The contact with the landlord Johannes was very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the relaxing days with you. The location was very idyllic next to a cow pasture and on the hillside. Sunrise and sunset were unique in addition to lots of red kites 🙂 Always happy to come back and thank you for your hospitality.
We have felt super comfortable. Great quiet place with great views over the fields. Great helpful and uncomplicated hosts. We were there for two nights and will definitely be back!
Beautiful view and absolute tranquility. Perfect for relaxing! Electricity and water connection provide comfort if you want. The pitch is slightly sloping, so wedges are recommended, but the host also has some there in case. Overall very friendly and uncomplicated! We are thrilled!

- Wonderfully quiet pitch - only little to level, no problem if you have wedges with you. But Johannes also offers some! - Pitch open to the south, so no obstacles if you need SAT reception. - (well) water is free of charge - Oh yes, and the hosts are very nice and sympathetic
