Welcome to the Holschbacher Höhe,
located at the edge of the Westerwald, our farm invites hikers, cyclists or other travelers to spend the night. Between cows, horses and chickens can be pitched on our meadow up to 2 tents or park a WoMo.
A fireplace with seating offers the option to sit around the campfire. For an extra charge I will gladly provide wood. In our bar in the stable building is the toilet which is available to our guests as well as a refrigerator, stove and coffee maker. You can also stay in the bar or outside under the big walnut tree in the cool shade.
If you like hiking you will find the Holschbacher Rundweg (6,5km) in the near surroundings. For longer hikes the Siegsteig is recommended. Also for cyclists there is a variety of routes in the area that lead into the deep Westerwald. A clear recommendation for both hikers and cyclists is a tour through the Nistertal.
Other excursion destinations would be the monastery Marienstatt, the Druidenstein or the Holzbachschlucht to name a few. Also the beautiful Hachenburg is always worth a visit.
