The pitch is located in the village of Wilsdorf under the "Wachhügel" and has a southern exposure. The rear part is partially shaded by vegetation from the early afternoon and is particularly suitable for pet owners.

The pitch is adjacent to an extensive sheep pasture.

There are numerous places of interest nearby.

The small town of Dornburg and the Dornburg castles are within walking distance of 2km.

Ideally located for cycling trips between the Saale-Rad and Ilm-Rad hiking trails.

The spa and wine town and spa Bad Sulza with the Toskana Therme and the graduation house can be reached by bike in about 30 minutes.

Furthermore, canoe tours on the Saale from Jena or Camburg are possible.

The cities of Jena, Weimar, Naumburg and Freyburg can be reached by car in about 30 minutes.

The Saale valley, the Saale-Unstrut wine-growing region and the numerous castles and palaces invite you to extended hikes.
