A lovely spot for self-sufficient campers. 2 km from the Dornburg Castles.
We had a peaceful getaway and a cozy campfire on the beautiful meadow—it was all so simple. Thank you!

A wonderfully quiet place with lots of opportunities for hiking. Contact with the host was super uncomplicated. We had a very relaxing, laid-back weekend.

Wonderfully beautiful pitch. So much peace, space and quiet! Thank you Jens for cutting the grass yesterday and preparing a fire pit for us. We really enjoyed the starry sky by the fire!
The meadow is somewhat hidden on the outskirts of the village and, as discussed, also offers a shady spot... But you should have wheel chocks with you, because it's a bit of a slope. Very nice host, who also stops by personally for a little chat to make sure everything is OK... Wonderful, if I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to stop by!

Very nice quiet place
A very nice quiet place, matching the description. Good to find. We were fully satisfied. Gladly again.
We expected a friendly operator as well as a very nice and quietly located pitch. On the slightly sloping meadow drive-up wedges are advantageous. Campfire is also possible. Jena is accessible by vehicle in 15 minutes but also Apolda and Weimar are not far away. This place is recommended in any case.

Jens' place is very beautiful and wildly romantic in the middle of nature. Jens is meganett and accommodating. He even kindly let us fill up our water tank. Very cool and recommendable is also the canoe tour on the Saale from Camburg. So everything is highly recommended!
