Our campsite is located in the beautiful Fronhausen/Bellnhausen.

It is in close proximity to the Lahn and therefore also near the main bike path that runs along the Lahn. With good access to the Lahn, water activities are no problem.

In the immediate vicinity, food-wise, there is a farm store, vending machines and also a baker.

Animals can also be viewed (sheep, goats, camels🐫, chickens, cows, dogs and cats).

In addition, camel and llama tours are offered in close proximity.

Due to the good highway connection, we are easily accessible and there is the possibility to quickly get to the cities of Marburg and Giessen.

You are thus given many opportunities to do something or just let your legs dangle.

We are looking forward to your visit. 😊

The place is fine, and the price is good. The animals on the farm are great. Access to the river is there, but it’s kind of hard to use if you really want to go in with a board or something (lots of big rocks). There’s a loud, busy road right next to it. From what we could see, there’s a small, nice garden with a fire pit, but since it wasn’t really marked properly, we weren’t sure if we were allowed in there. There’s nowhere to dispose of trash or gray water—or maybe we just didn’t see it.

The site was easy to find and clean. It’s fine if you’re just stopping over. But as a final destination, the street is definitely too noisy for my taste, and the field with its six parking spots is too cramped. I’ve stayed in more idyllic spots before...

It was such a hassle-free place—the kids loved the animals and the playground just a few minutes' walk away!

Everything's great! I'd love to do it again! ☺️
