Nestled in the open countryside is a small patch of forest where you’ll feel right at home as a “bushcrafter.”
This lovely spot is perfect for anyone who wants to spend some time in the woods and even spend the night there.
There is water for washing (not drinking water) on the property or about 1 km away at the stream. Please bring your own drinking water or filter/boil it.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The campsite has no address (the address provided is only an approximation) - Directions and GPS coordinates will be sent to your cell phone after booking.
- You cannot drive into the forest!
House Rules / Miscellaneous:
- Be discreet and quiet; no music, no noise—you’re in the middle of nature here.
- Keep dogs on a leash at all times.
- Accommodation for 3 people is included in the price. There is room for more people. The cost is €10 per person per night, payable on-site.
- Use the designated restroom area (dry toilet)
- Take away more trash than you brought with you :)
- Fires are allowed only when there is no risk of forest fire. You’re welcome to bring your own firewood.
- Do not cut down trees or damage living trees!!

By booking, you acknowledge that - playing music in the forest is not permitted - the forest can harbor dangers, e.g. wild animals, falling trees, falling branches, etc. - you are in the forest at your own risk and responsibility - the forest must be left immediately in the event of danger due to storms, thunderstorms and other weather events - the forest owner accepts no liability for accidents, injuries and other damage. You are responsible for your own well-being - the forest and its surroundings are left tidy and clean, any garbage found will be collected and taken away.

There are certainly families for whom Gunnar’s offer is just right. For us, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. The personal interaction was uncomfortable from day one. The camp was far too small for our idea of the outdoors; it barely has enough space for a barbecue and to set up two tents right next to it. After we broke camp, we were accused of hammering nails into the trees and damaging the wood, which honestly shocked us. We followed all the rules (there were quite a few—for example, children aren’t allowed to pick up leaves from the ground)—and we wouldn’t dream of hammering nails into tree branches. And so, a disappointing stay came to a disappointing end.
It's very secluded—perfect if you want to relax in peace and quiet surrounded by nature.
