Our donkey farm is located in the beautiful countryside of the Wetterau region. Our farm residents include 2 donkeys, 2 dwarf rabbits, 7 bantam chickens, about 25 chickens, 1 dog, and 2 cats. The tent or camping spot is located right next to the donkey paddock, meaning that when you wake up in the morning, you can watch the donkeys rolling around in the sand.
Numerous hiking and biking trails are in the immediate vicinity. The Niddastausee is about a 10-minute drive away, and the Hoherodskopf, featuring a summer toboggan run and a climbing forest, is about 15 minutes away!
Upon request, you can also book a donkey hike, provided there is availability.
There is also the option to rent a tent bed. Please send us a message if you’re interested.
The entrance is a bit narrow for large RVs, so we recommend using only large RVs with a built-in maneuvering aid.
And please send us a quick message when booking to let us know what vehicle you’ll be arriving in and your approximate arrival time.

Very nice host family. Unfortunately we were late on arrival, but the hosts were very flexible. Thanks again for that! We felt very comfortable and the children were allowed to move around the whole property. They were allowed to use the existing toys, a real children's paradise! We were also provided with vegetables from our own garden: delicious! But the highlight was of course the three donkey ladies and Coco the chick. We will definitely be back again!
What a great place - super lovely hosts! We immediately felt at home! The welcome was very warm! The pitch right next to the donkeys - a dream! For dinner and when we said goodbye there were vegetables from the great garden! What more could you want! We will definitely be back! Best wishes to the whole family and of course the 3 donkey ladies!
Super nice hosts, we were unfortunately only one night on site but got an all-round feel-good package. Everything as described. Highly recommended .
Great hosts and beautiful pitch. We were there for one night and really enjoyed it. The children loved the donkeys and rabbits. Everything was very uncomplicated. We'd love to come again.
